The elementary school in which my office is located has a weekly Student of the Month type thing called the VIP. Each VIP can select from a wide array of prizes. Pretty simple stuff like using a pen instead of a pencil in class for 2 weeks (that's what my 3rd grader chose) or other things. This weeks VIP is a 3rd grader who is our schools only type I diabetic so we see her a lot in the health office. She chose coloring with the school nurse as her prize. I can hear her and our building nurse (who is a treasure!) out there coloring and chatting. Too. Darn. Sweet!
