FCCJ Fall '09???

does anyone know if you get accepted is the orientation mandatory?? Bc i made my flight to see my bf grad from boot camp and wont be bak till the evening of the 17??

No letter today... I am soooooo sad .... I just wanna know what is the cutoff....

My acceptance letter said that orientation is mandatory for all students. If you have an exam for a current class already scheduled that day then will make other arrangements but I think that is the only exception.

I live in Duval at the beaches and I still havent received my letter ... I'm sure we all will get ours by the end of the week

I live in Riverside/Avondale area and have not gotten mine either. Very frustrating! I am freaking out! :)

I'm in!! So now the fun begins. Does anyone know if there is anything that is needed that we actually don't have to buy just yet?

I'm in!! It doesn't specify whether I am in days or nights. I picked days as my number 1 choice. I live in Duval and applied with 205 points. I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to meet everyone!

I called this morning and was told that they will not give out the cut off for points over the phone. It has to be done in writing. what???? Anyway, I guess we will have to wait for someone to get their "denial" letter...unfortunately!

I was also wondering if anyone was informed what program they got into, night day. My letter was not specific.

My letter wasn't specific either. I thought we would have an idea of where we wanted to choose to do our clinicals but that wasn't in there either. Anyone know the schedule for the nights program or if we have the choice on days or nights and where our clinicals will be?

I got my letter today and IM IN!! Im so excited and relieved! I applied with 216 points and live in Clay in case anyone wants to know. I cant wait to get started and meet all of you!

crtm0924 I dont think we have to buy the uniforms just yet. Ive heard they give out some free uniforms from the last class at orientation, so you could wait until then because you dont have to order until the 18th.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten in so far . I hope to be one of the lucky ones for Summer '10. I love coming here every day after work in anticipation of reading this thread.
