Fastest (<9 mo), multiple start dates, under 10-15K, online RN-BSN?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has up to date info on the fastest (can be finished in 9 months or under), under 10-15k tuition, multiple start dates, online RN-BSN? So far, I have researched only 2 and that's Chamberlain and TexasTech. However, those were from posts years ago. I'm just wondering if anyone is up to date with other RN-BSN's?

State does not matter as long as the tuition is under 10-15k, but CA, TX, or even AZ is preferable. I have to rule out for-profit and WGU.

    Any nursing leadership conference I've attended where learning is discussed will usually include the different generations and their learning styles. It's funny but true, much of it! :) I'm a generation X-er, but I have a (sometimes ridiculous) work ethic, whereas some X-ers are known for slack.

    That project management triangle applies to most things in life. I made a sign with that saying for my ex-husband, a tattoo artist. It holds true there as well. :D

    I did my RN-BSN through Chamberlain. I can't say it was easy per se -- it did take a lot of effort, lots of writing, etc. -- but I can say that it sure as heck was NOT cheap! I had great tuition reimbursement and a small scholarship to assist me, though.

    Check Out Ohio University. It will take me 13 months. Generous on transfer credits. Nursing classes 5 weeks. Tuition $243/Credit out of state.

    They only accept students from certain states. I'm in Illinois and we are excluded :-(

    I already have my Associated Degree in Nursing and sent applied for a few numbers of online schools. I applied for Notre dame college their per credit hour $2989(free application and they order your transcripts for you) Capella University is $314/ credit hour ( $50 for application fee unless your work waives it, and they order your transcripts for you) Jacksonville University is now $460/credit hour(free application and they order your transcripts) Fort Hayes is $182/credit hour($30 application fee and you order your transcripts),southeast missouri is $341/credit hour($30 application fee and your order your transcripts),university of louisiana lafayette $8500 for just the rn classes and books are $50-$65 each

    I had excellent tuition reimbursement and only needed 32 credits, so it was worth it for me, yes. I did learn a lot, and like most programs, you only get out as much as you put in. I would advise you to explore less expensive (not for-profit) schools as well. Good luck!

    Capella University has a new flex-path program. Pay $2500 every 12 weeks and do as much work as you can in that time period. It just started in Jan so there's not much feedback about the program yet.

    And, there are no disscussions with fellow students. The professor assigns the work they want you to do and the student does the assignments, at least for the Nursing classes. It sounds like something I would like. I'm taking two online classes right now with Excelsior for pre-reqs and I really don't like the disscussion part personally. I just want to do my work. I'm hoping someone who has started the new flex-path with them will comment on how they like it.
