I am currently attending CCBC(beaver county) but i just took he NET for CCAC Allegheny campus. And i am taking the PBS_RN at UPMC shadyside Saturday. i would love to go to UPMC shadyside but i will go anywhere that someone will accept me and make the most of it that i can. When you study for the net make sure you know: MATH- percents,basic algebra,fractions(just brush up there are a few of each) Reading make sure you finish it all. The lady who tested us said this test goes by the number of right answers so if you don't know it and time is running out guess. I am probably gonna have to retake it so i can get a better score even though i haven't gotten my score back yet. Where are you taking the test

Not CCAC NOEL CCBC, but thanks anyway i gotta think everything happens for a reason. I know i will get it right sometime, although i didnt get into ccbc i came very close #8 alternate so that is my little push to try harder and harder and i am gonna take this PBS_RN test this saturday at UPMC shadyside with all my might. I dont know but i have a really good feeling about that place.

Oh, I'm sorry you did not get in to your first choice school. But I do hope that one of your other two options work out. Don't despair, it's as you said...everything will work out when the time is right. Good luck to you and keep us posted. I wish you the best!

Well i didn't get into the program at my current school. I was placed on the alternate list. I am kinda bummed this was my first choice school and i have two more possibilities. UPMC shadyside is my co choice( i say co because id would love to have went to my current school or UPMC). If not then i will just wait till next year i guess. Thanks for all the support guys and congrats to all the people starting there programs and graduating etc. And keep your head up to all those who are still waiting. God bless you all

I gotta believe that you will get in! Keep writing emails to the selection committee. Express your continued interest in starting this fall. Make sure that you tell them each and every time that you accept the offer of a training seat if it becomes available. Thats what I did and I ended up getting in about 2 weeks after being put on the alternate list.

NCRN2B, thank you so much you kind words and encouragement it really means a lot to me now, i already know that nursing is the path i am to follow and now i have to believe that i will get into where i am supposed to when i am supposed to. I definitely will keep u all posted
