Dcccd 2006

Anybody thinking about El Centro/ Northlake in the DCCCD for Jan 2006?

OK...so how does it work in Dallas? How are some of you accepted into different schools, waiting for the same acceptance letter? I'm confused!!

There are two different schools here but they are both under DCCCD. We all apply at the same time but we get accepted into different schools. El Centro is in downtown Dallas and Northlake is about 20 minutes away. There is another DCCCD nursing school, Brookhaven, but they are on a totally different schedule than Northlake and El Centro. There are a total of 7 schools I think in DCCCD but only 3 offer the nursing program. Does that make sense? hehehe

Woogy, there is 1 main campus, and one satellite campus. El Centro is the main campus which accepts 70 people, North Lake is the satellite campus which accepts 40. I think....I'm pretty sure it's a total of 110. :)

I'm still waiting on my letter. lol

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted.

Thanks for explaining! Still, that's not a lot of seats! Do you get to give a preference on your app as to which school you prefer?

Did ya ever consider that it may have taken him longer today, due to all the big acceptance packages he had to load in the truck??

Ok, that's a good thought. I called the post office and asked if the mail had been delivered here yet and he said no--the mailman is running late---today of all days! I'm sorry, yes I'm vey crazy and anxious. I have to work this weekend and I will not be in a good mood if I have to wait till Monday!

Congrats to those who made it!!

I had it sent to my mom's house in Garland...She said mine wasn't there :( It'll probably be monday.

BTW, to those who made it, did any of y'all have a 3.77? Or were y'all 4.0's?

the mail man is here!!! Just waiting for him to put the mail in the boxes. I'll go check and be right back.
