dawniepoo 223 Posts Apr 11, 2013 I still have 190 days, but our school has done away with pinning, even with strong protests from all of us. They completely do not care about this tradition and are happy to be saving the money by not having it.

Our school always has the senior class do a fundraiser to pay for pinning. Usually sailing candles. Most classes raise enough to even cover the picture and pin/lamp expenses too (if you get the basic pin). We raised enough to do all of that and offer 2 scholarships to our first year students. In excited about pinning. My mom went to the same nursing school 13 some years ago.
