i was looking forward to watching dancing with the stars which bbc america has been advertising to death lately, watched it last night and didnt see any brits on there, only americans, have watched the american version which did have scary spice but they were american as well, whats going on?
there was a 2 hour programme with an hour of hotel babylon afterwards which was being repeated yet again, and then the 2 hour programme was on again, and you think that bbc in the uk is bad.
gordon ramsey is on every second hour and they are repeated all the time, keep looking to see if its an episode that we havent seen, but no such luck.

Cariad, was it the American or the British version you saw on bbcamerica?
I love this programme, and since we're 'between seasons' I need my fix, lol.
Is it on every week? I must try to find it. Just hope it's not a repeat.

The UK original is called "Strictly Come Dancing", The USA then got it's own version - & that's why there's only US stars on it.

I was gutted too I thought it was going to be UK stars.
I have a new car and I have sat radio in it. So now everyday I listen to Radio One-it is sooooo good to keep up to date with news and the music-I am in heaven. I laugh out loud all the way to work at the corny jokes and I love Chris Moyles because he is so near to the mark and believe me you just DONT hear anybody here getting close to the mark and getting away with it.
The swearing or words which the US think are bad on the TV are bleeped out I kid you not. So we do see edited versions of everything.
The only programs BBC America seem to think we need to see are
"How clean is your house"
"Cash in the attic"
"Bargain Hunt"
and they replay and replay them continously:hrnsmlys:
:lol2::lol2::lol2:
Of course my big problem when I started listening to BBC radio was a huge surge of Homesickness but I am passed that now thank god

Subscribe at http://www.liveuktv.com - around $49 per month but well worth it. You get BBC, ITV, C4, Sky 1, UK Gold etc. and can watch them streamed live, delayed by 5, 8 or 16 hours. Over here in AZ the 8 hour delay means you sort of get the programmes at their UK running time. For most sports, the mid afternoon kick off means getting up early but you can watch the 6 Nations (and Wales thumping England ) whilst you have breakfast.
You can either then watch on your PC or, as we have, use a laptop and buy a SD cable and sound lead from Walmart etc (a few dollars each), plug them into the back of your video and watch some decent tele on the big screen.
It beats BBC America and the drivel served up on cable. I don't watch that much but it makes the things that I used to enjoy watching back in Blighty enjoyable.
If you do subscribe, tell them I sent you and we get a monthly reduction for an introduction!
Cheers
