Current Drexel ACE'rs

Hi everyone. I'm just curious how the folks in the Drexel ACE program are doing so far. I'm accepted and starting in fall 2008. I was wondering how your program schedules work. How often are classes and when (and how many hours/day) are you doing clinicals? I would appreciate any feedback! Good luck to you all.

I ordered my uniform at the store. They are really helpful and very up on exactly what we need and the choices we have. We only need one lab coat--it is up to us if it is long or short. They will put your name on it and it takes a few weeks so you should order soon.

thanks for all the responses!!! i appreciate it...

Has anyone who applied to the ACE program for Fall 2009 get any responses yet?

hi - no i have not received a response from Drexel yet...i was thinking by November we should know something...

I haven't heard either, but it took a long time for them to realize they had all of my transcripts, so technically my application was complete AFTER the priority deadline.

i received my provisional acceptance today!!!!! i couldnt be any happier!!!!

but i have to be careful and do well the rest of this semester and next semester and maintain my GPA in order to keep the acceptance...im still finishing up prereqs and they are going to send me a list of what other classes I need to take before august.

im sure u all will get letters soon also! good luck!

got mine too!!

Congrats and good luck to the both of you! :yeah:

I'm still holding out for mine. I'm hoping that it's taking longer because I'm on the west coast. I'm anxious now...

If there are any current DREXEL ACER's in school - I'd love to hear more 'motivational' stories.. as the schedules look really intense. I am ok with that. I want to hear stories about people feeling like the education prepared them for the real world and whether they would do it all over again if given the chance ;)

thanks j4.

wow ur from the west coast? what made u decide to apply to drexel? just curious if u dont mind me asking. =]

I do not mind :nuke:

I got the chance to go to the east coast twice this year and I really liked it over there. I figure it would be a chance for me to take a hiatus from Seattle for awhile. Most of my mom's side of the family resides in Philly. If accepted, I figure I could just live with them for a year while attending Drexel. I also love NYC and the prospect of being only a couple hours away from it excites me.
