Current CNA Pay Range

Published

Can I have some insight on what Nursing Assistants currently make in 2016? If you could tell me what kind of facility you work in that would be helpful as well. Thanks!

As a nursing student with my CNA license, I made about $13.50 (not including differentials) at a hospital in Colorado. Nursing homes in this area advertise about $9-10.50/hr.

Thanks! I'm trying to gauge whether it is worth it for me to work during nursing school or not.

I'm in Nevada and I make 15.03 to start without any experience

It will largely depend on where you live and the cost of living in your area. I live in a rural area of Kansas and base wage at the hospital where I work is $9.25 per hour. The nursing home 13 miles away pays $10 per hour base wage.

I have two jobs in ltc facilities in Wisconsin. One pays 11.50 and the other one pays $14.

I'm in CT and at the hospital I make $12.50 base pay and at a nursing home I make $13.50 for days and $17.50 for nights.

$11.67 in CO, I've been working for a year in home care and had one raise. I was offered another job at $10.50. I work very part time (one day a week) and do it more for the experience.

When I worked as a cna in the bay area, California, I started at $11/hr in an assisted living facility. When I got hired in the hospital, I started at $22/hr!

In Illinois I work in ltc making 10.25 and in Iowa I work at a Alf making 11.33 an hour...
