Dear Cindy,

Thank you for confirming your acceptance to the Traditional Basic BSN program for Spring 2021. Please continue to monitor your email account and adhere to the requests made by the university to remain eligible for admission. Should you have any questions concerning your university admission or required documents, please contact the university admission’s office, Their contact information can be found here: http://www.csulb.edu/admissionsOfficial transcripts and additional documents should be sent directly to the university, not to the School of Nursing.

Bur seriously guys don’t worry too much about it! I sent my acceptance a day after Nancy sent the acceptance email rather than right away so she may be working backwards.

Guys I feel so anxious, I just wanna know everything about the program NOWWWW. ? I know we will know at orientation, but the anticipation is killing me

Same!

I also was pretty concrete on my decision to go for the semester program...and now suddenly I'm freaking out and running in circles in my head wondering if I should do trimester instead. ?

On a lighter note though, I found out our baseball team is called the Dirtbags

Y'all need to chill out ?

I sent it the night of and didn't get anything yet, but honestly let's just take a deep breath and trust the system. Everything will be made clear next month, so in the meantime, let's just relax and enjoy what we got left before the stress begins.

You need to be my new best friend in nursing school ?

Hey guys! Just curious, is there anyone on this platform that might or has already decided to decline their admission to CSULB??

yes! this ? We will get all the info at the freakin 7 1/2 HOUR orientation on the 12th. Re: immunizations, I think I remember them saying that some people don't get accepted off the waitlist until the week before classes start, so no way will they make us all have our documentation in by 12/1.

For all the newly accepted folks who haven't had a chance to read through old posts - join us in the FB group!  CSULB BSN Spring 2021

@Opera2Nursing

I found the handbook for this fall cohort online and shared it in the facebook group. I think others who haven't joined the group can take a quick look as well.

The immunizations feel as if they were all done before 18, just basic immunizations, nothing special. I'm actually more nervous about the health insurance and malpractice insurance since I'm from overseas and I don't have either of those insurance. Definitely worth a quick glance, a few nuggets here and there.

Thanks for this! Great resource.

I thought Hep B and MMR would be a given, but I called my old family doctor's office and they not only have no record of me getting the MMR vaccine, but only 1 out of the 3 Hep B shots. ?

Reading the doc, it looks like we will have to present titers for everything, regardless of immunization records. Am I reading that right?

Has anyone still not received a confirmation email yet
