CSULB Spring 2021

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to ask this information for a friend who is an alternate. Has anyone who remained on the alternate list happened to have gotten a formal rejection letter recently? My friend has not received any form of communication regarding her status. Thank you!

I know you've already begun your journeys at CSULB's Nursing Program but I wanted to get some insight of what kind of questions they asked for the Communications Exercise since I fortunately got accepted to participate for the Fall session!

@kkypaa Hey! Congratulations on getting an invite to the communication exercise :)

Don't stress about it. It's really just to make sure you are understood when you write and speak. The questions are similar to journal prompts and the writing portion is a response to media they provide. Easy peasy.

Hello, this question is for Spring 2022 but does anyone know if the CSULB SON accepts the latest submission of the Spring application? I already applied but am planning to apply again in a few days for a higher TEAS score. I already emailed the SON, waiting for a response, hoping anyone here could help me. TIA

Hi! I applied for Spring 2023 and did the communications exercise this past Wednesday. I got an email inviting me for a re-interview and was wondering if you ended up getting into the program! Also, do you know why they do the second interviews?? I’m so anxious right now because I didn’t think I did too bad during the initial interview…?

Now you have me stressed because I didn't even get an email for a re-interview and was invited to the communication exercise for Spring 2023 ?. How did it go for you?

Don't be worried! They probably re-interviewed me because they were unsure about me haha. I think it went okay but can't be too sure :((

Oh. Well, I hope we both get admitted into the program! By the way, I saw that the Spring deadline for submitting initial transcripts is October 31st from the Steps for Newly Admitted Transfers Page. However, we don't hear back until around that time or early November, so does that mean the deadline doesn't apply to us?

Hopefully! I’m not sure about the transcript deadline though..I would assume it doesn’t apply to us, but I think it would be best to just email the school to confirm!
