Published

Hi all, i have seen alot of people wearing these shoes at the hospital. I am interested in the highland (no vent holes) or the metro (vents along the bottom). are the vents neccessary?? will my feet get hot wearing them? let me know please. also maybe hints wear to purchase. thanks

I see you're in Michigan.... is there a Foley's or any May store around? (Lord & Taylor, Hecht's, Meier & Frank, Famous-Barr, The Jones Store, Robinsons-May, Filene's, Kaufmann's, Strawbridges, Foley's, and L.S. Ayres are all the May stores) We have Kaufmann's here, and I know they sell them.... I believe my store has both styles....

I would get the ones with the vents...my feet don't really feel hot in the Highlands, but they sure are sweaty when I take them off...however, they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had...just wish they came in a true white rather than just the pearl.

I went to www.crocs.com. Just got mine in the mail today. Haven't had a chance to wear them yet. They weigh almost nothing! I plan on wearing them my next work day but bring along the old stand-by birkenstocks just in case they end up killing my feet.

The crocs website has 'store near you' links. I paid just under $50, shipping included. Initially, they were put on back order. Took about 3 weeks to get here.

I think in the store I saw them in, they were only running at about $30 a pair....

okay so I have been so excited to try out these new crocs. I ordered a pair and had to send them back because they were too small, now the ones I ordered are on back order until June! Yikes, so I would suggest NOT ordering them online if there is a store close by. There is a mad demand for these shoes!

Good Luck

I found mine on eBay...just under $40 with shipping...

sorry to hear that, so they do not run true to size??? I normally wear a nine. Should I order a 10??? The reason I am asking all these questions is that I have to order them on line...there are no shops near me that carry them.

Thanks

It's hard to say, I am in an interesting situation because my feet are a true 10.5, but rarely does anyone make that size, so I either go a little big with an 11 or a little small depending on the brand. The company says that their shoes run a little big so I ordered the 10, but when I put them on my toes were at the very end and I was afraid that they would not be very comfortable after 12hrs on my feet, so to be safe I sent them back for an 11. Not much help, but they say that their shoes run a little big. Hard telling though from my experience. You could always order two sizes and then send one back if you're not sure.

Since hearing so much about Crocs on this website, I decided to buy a pair online. I just got them in the mail yesterday and haven't had a chance to wear them at work yet, but I'm absolutely in love with them! I usually wear a size 7.5 shoe, but I heard that Crocs run a little big, so I purchased a W6-7 M8-9 and they fit perfectly. I've been wearing them all day at home and I must say that they are the lightest, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn... aside from my flip flops and bedroom slippers! :) I love my Dansko Marcelles, but I know I'm going to have even better days at work with my new Metro style Crocs. However, just a couple of tips for those of you who don't want to spend so much money on shoes... do some comparison shopping online for better prices (some offer free shipping), look for them on eBay, and also look for knock offs that are made similar, but are priced cheaper. You can find them under the names of Holey Soles, Waldies or Airwalk.
