I would just stay over in the hotel Sunday night and fly out on Monday. Anything else is cutting it too close for comfort. Besides, the hotel will charge you for another night anyway depending on how late they will allow you to check out, so you might as well get your money's worth for the extra night. Good luck.

I had booked a 4:50pm flight out on Sunday pm in an airport that was an hour away from the test site!! I freaked out about it when it got close, but I only ended up needing one PCS on Sunday and acutally got on the 12:35pm flight! I did not want to spend another night there. I think you will be fine with a flight that late, the latest you could be at the hospital would be 5.

You can be out as early as 10-10:30 if you only have the one pcs or as late as 4pm if you have 3 pcs to do. Some of the epn journals can help you visualize the timelines. I had one repeat pcs on Sun & was out by 1pm. Hope this helps!

Yes, that is late enough. You'll probably have all day at the airport, good luck!

I was out at 0915 on Sunday morning. Some of the other students had not even seen their PCS's yet. It all depends on how fast you are and how many you have to do but even with the 1 required on Sunday and 2 make-ups, I would think you could make that flight easily. Just my opinion.

If you plan on the longer stay and book your flight accordingly, that is one less stressor you will place on yourself for the Sunday performance.

How many pcs's do you get on Sat & Sun?

what happens on Sunday when you pass/fail? do they just say "ok you made it" then send you on your way? Do you need to fill out any paperwork? I'm planning to take mine in NY, anyone do theirs in NY?

Good question! I totally don't remember... when I passed that final PCS on Sunday they just brought me back to the meeting room, had me get my purse and bag... got some congratulations and hugs and I think I could just go on my way. I don't recall having to do any paperwork, don't recall getting any paperwork, but maybe I did, I was so high on cloud nine I'm surprised I found my way back to my car.

On the topic of flying.... Even though I was done on Sunday before 10am (I had no way of knowing when I would finish up), I still booked my flight in advance for Monday morning. On Sunday the only thing you want to be thinking about is the CPNE, not about making your flight on time. I highly recommend just scheduling your flight for Monday. Then you can take Sunday evening and just relax with a good book, call all your friends and family, shred your study material, go out to eat, or shop or whatever.

You have 2 pcs on Sat & 1 on Sun. If you have any to repeat (your allowed 1 adult & 1 peds makeup) this would be done after that pcs on Sun

My flight is booked for Monday morning. I'll have enough to worry about without the stress of making it to the airport in time. I also wouldn't want to have to check out Sun morning and then find somewhere to stash my luggage until the test was over.
