4.0 Challenge!

Hello everyone! I'm a pre-Nursing student with two semesters of pre-reqs to do before I can apply to the Nursing Program at my University. Who wants to start a support thread and help motivate each other? We can list our classes for the fall and report back with updates/venting/encouraging as needed. I'll start:

A&P I with Lab

Fundamentals of Organic & Biochem with Lab

Nursing 110 (a survey introductory course at my school serving as an overview of Nursing)

Sociology 105

I'd love to hear what everyone is taking! Good luck, you can do this!

:specs::)

I'm taking:

Statistical Methods

A&P I with lab

Nutrition

U.S History since 1877

Really excited, hope all of you have a great semester. We can do it!

I took Intermediate, it is a great help for college algebra, it doesn't hurt to have some more help. Good luck!

This Semester I'm Finishing up my last few prereqs. I accept the challenge of a 4.0 this semester

A&P 1

Human Growth

Medical Terms

Math

A&P2

Micro

Algebra

Intro to sociology

17 units

Going for a 4.0 this semester

Have you started classes yet? If so how is micro going so far with anatomy? Those are my last 2 classes of prereqs and wondering if taking them together will be a smart move.

I'm taking Intro to Chem and Microbio. My last semester of pre-reqs, :roflmao:

I'm just now getting back into school after a hiatus since 2010. I am currently working full-time as a Nursing Assistant (3-11p). This leaves me to only take class in the morning however possible.

This semester I'm taking my all-time favorite course: A&P with lab Monday thru Thursday mornings. With this being my only course, there's no reason I should accept a 4.0! I'm ready!

So my course changed!

AP 1 with lab

Micro with lab

English 2

Med terminology

I will get A's!

ONE MONTH CHECK IN!

I have 105% in A+P I right now and I am thrilled! I also have 100% in my Into to professional nursing course, and probably a high B in organic right now. I need to focus on that class! Sociology doesn't have a grade yet since we haven't done any graded work yet, so I'm telling myself I have an A there too haha. Update everyone with your progress! Keep at it!

How do you have 105%?

I'm taking:

Microbiology w/Lab

American Literature

Sociology

World History II

Public Speaking

Next term I will complete my pre-req with:

Arts

Biology

History and

Nutrition

Great idea! Just found this. I have some not so good grades from a previous degree so I NEED straight As. This is my first semester of prereqs.

Intro Psych- high A, shouldn't have a hard time maintaining it. Got 100% on a couple tests.

Human Bio- currently probably a B (got an 84 on 1st test) but we have labs and the lowest test grade is dropped so I think I'll be fine.

Lifespan Development- Got an 88% on the first test, and there are also participation points and writing assignments so again, I think I'm fine but I still better be all buckled down.
