4.0 Challenge!

Hello everyone! I'm a pre-Nursing student with two semesters of pre-reqs to do before I can apply to the Nursing Program at my University. Who wants to start a support thread and help motivate each other? We can list our classes for the fall and report back with updates/venting/encouraging as needed. I'll start:

A&P I with Lab

Fundamentals of Organic & Biochem with Lab

Nursing 110 (a survey introductory course at my school serving as an overview of Nursing)

Sociology 105

I'd love to hear what everyone is taking! Good luck, you can do this!

:specs::)

Kayfactor,

No I am not in a LPN school, however, I was going to attend one last year, but decided to stick with becoming a RN. I attend camden county college I'm taking the prereqs for widener BSN program.

Are you applying for the spring start or the summer semester

My goal is to start in the summer and take the clinical ready courses. I will be finish all my classes in the spring semester. I plan on applying to widener at the end of my fall semester

Ohhh then I shall see you in summer then..cos I am applying for the summer start too but I have taken half of the difficult classes lol..so I like widener due to the half tuition scholarship that is based on Gpa and by the time I finish, I will be owing 30k plus or less. I still dont know why people dont apply there

Right! That's one of the reasons why I am going to apply to widener. I look forward to seeing in the summer pm me sometime. Did you apply yet?

Nope am applying this coming fall..I wanted to apply last summer but my advisor was on leave so I will be applying this fall. Yeah I will pm you whenever I have a question or anything new about widener.. I hope I can still maintain my Gpa and also to join thier honor society

Good luck Carley! I am also taking Micro and World Religions.

Thanks meeep! Good luck to you too! It's definitely an interesting semester thus far :)

I'm taking...

-A&P I

-A&P Lab

-College Math

Straight As, baby! Won't accept nothing less! :cat:

This is definitely a great idea! Good luck everyone!

I lied... my schedule changed last minute. No longer am I taking College Algebra; it's been replaced with developmental psych. Although I'm happy to not have to take college math, I am worried since I'm still getting the hang of dosage calculations. I feel like I may need some extra time to myself to get a better grasp of it.

I just got my A&P books... They. Are. Extremely. Huge.

Wow, I'm super happy that this thread took off! Good luck to everyone, and keep us posted! I'm so ready for classes to start. This is going to be a great year!

I"m taking:

A&P I + Lab

Inte Algebra & Trig.

Computer Fund.

Has anyone already started prepping for the semester? I've read almost 2 chapters of my AP book, and am going to start on my Micro book soon.

Taking Organic Chemistry w/Lab and College Algebra this semester. I'm scared to death but here's to joining the 4.0 challenge! After I finish these 2 classes I can take the HESI and apply to our nursing program. Then I'll take A&P 1 and Microbiology next semester and A&P 2 during the summer maybe.

Glad to see I'm in such good company. Good luck everyone!

Awesome idea!

I'm keeping it light this semester and taking Anatomy with Lab. I want to give myself the best chance possible to get an A.
