Would you mind sharing what your TEAS score was when you applied to the LPN program? I already took mine (should probably take it again) but I have a friend who is applying and doesn't think his TEAS is high enough for LPN.

My overall TEAS was 77.3% and 89% in reading. And for the LPN program minimum is 58.7 overall and 69% in reading.

Thank you!   So we need to try to keep it together for a week.

Yes definitely

Have most of you guys completed all of your prereqs? If you don't mind me asking

I haven’t, I’m on my last classes now.

No, I’m finishing up micro, a&p2, and ethics this semester

When I applied in the Fall, I had not finished Micro (I was not accepted). I was in progress. I ended with a C so I am now retaking it.

Yes I am finished all of my prereqs.

I’m finishing up A&P 2, communications 101, and my diversity course (art appreciation 104). What did everyone choose to take for their diversity course? Also thank you guys for answering!

I took a language course. At first they didn't want to count it so I had to complete a waiver to challenge the decision. They changed it. So I officially have all prerequisites finished but I'm worried about my C ?

I'm honestly not sure what is counting as my diversity.  I probably should have talked to an advisor to clarify that.   I took a 400 level medical ethics class at Towson U, a low lever theater history class at Towson and I took Spanish at CCBC 10 years ago.  I know HCC accepted the medical ethics and theater for my diversity but never asked at CCBC.

If you check your DegreeWorks, there is a list. But you can also send in those classes to be reviewed and one of them should be able to count.

Spanish counts as a diversity credit. They just changed the criteria and I originally took philosophy as mine because at the time it counted but now that doesn’t count ? so I’m taking ethics now which is like the same damn thing ?I’m slightly bitter
