Is there anyway to calculate how well your chances are, my TEAS scores aren’t great but my GPA is a 3.65 most of my classes I took are from HCC so I’m not sure if that matters Has anyone else applied to Harford? I applied last year for Fall 2021 to Harford. I had 11 points and was not accepted (which was to be expected I was still in Micro). CCBC doesn't have a point system. I think they just start with their basics and weed people out from there (low TEAS, not finished prerequisties, etc). I also took all of my sciences at Howard and I was told it didn't matter. They look at total prerequisite GPA and you must have a CCBC GPA of 2.0. Have you checked your application in the portal yet? We are all anxiously waiting ?
Oct 7, 20214 yr Yes, mines says decision made! I’m very nervous, I wish Harford was more organized like this! They don’t have any kind of online system and they are always so behind it sucks! Hopefully I get into one of them!

Oct 8, 20214 yr For my Harford friends- I heard that if you check your OWLNET and your major changes from "pre-nursing" to "nursing" then you're in. Just another thing to obsess over while we wait LOL
Oct 9, 20214 yr Author Ugh. I know my hopes were already lost at a Friday email after their email response but now it’s confirmed ? I hope it comes soon. My guess is by the time Spring registration opens on the 18th

Oct 9, 20214 yr Would the seat fee appear under “miscellaneous charges” or Spring 2022? Maybe that’s what they are waiting for. They can’t add it to Fall 2021.

Oct 9, 20214 yr Applications were due 1/31 and I got my denial email on 3/26. So that’s about 8 weeks ?

Oct 9, 20214 yr Has anyone thought about applying to the Spring LPN program as a backup? It's an evening/weekend program. I went back to my SHP application to see what else I could apply for and noticed they had a Spring cohort.

I went back to my SHP application to see what else I could apply for and noticed they had a Spring cohort. I applied for that in the Spring after I found out I didn't get into the RN program. And I discussed it with my adviser who advised against it because he said I was so close to getting into the RN program. I was accepted into the LPN program and ended up turning it down due to a family emergency. But if I don't get into HCC or ccbc RN program I think I will try that again because I don't have another year to wait. So thank you for reminding me of that.
