ATI Predictor Test Score in relation to Pass/Fail NCLEX

I graduated May 2006, and we had ATI at our school. We had to take 2 predictor exams. The first predictor told me I had a 96% chance of passing NCLEX the first time. The second predictor was a little harder and told me that I would have a 74% chance of passing the NCLEX the first time. I passed NCLEX the first time with 75 questions last July. :) So I don't think the predictor is really accurate. Just study your content, and practive A LOT of questions.

I had to take ATI too. It says I have a 99% chance of passing the first time. Haven't taken the NCLEX yet, so I don't know how accurate it is.

I would like to know what percent pass rate people got on ATI and if they passed or failed the NCLEX.

I am a little skeptical about this 91% chance of passing the NCLEX, especially since they recently raised the % you need to pass the NCLEX and I doubt ATI has accounted for this and I dont think that the ATI predictor test is CAT (computer adaptive test) so I dont think it is an accurate test.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Suzanne4 (I think it was her), posted somewhere, once upon a time, on the issue of the percentage rate being raised in order to pass the NCLEX. She broke it down into detail and I think the actual percentage difference was a fraction of 1%. Don't quote me! ?

I haven't even started an RN program yet, but I remembered reading the post, so I thought I would mention that in case anyone wanted to search for it.

I took the ATI and it said I had a 95% chance of passing on the first go round. I took the NCLEX last July and passed (75 questions). Not sure if there is any relation but I thought the predictor test was harder then then NCLEX. Just my thoughts. Good Luck too you.

I took the ATI comprehensive in December, it said I had a 99% chance of passing NCLEX PN on first attempt. I took my NCLEX in late January, passed with 85 questions.

I did work on my review study book in between time without fail too.

I took ATI in Febuary this year and it gave me 99% pass rate on the first try. I took NCLEX-RN mid April and passed with 75 questions.

I had a 98-99% chance of passing, and I passed my pn with 85 ques, that must mean that i passed with high marks. The predictor is pretty accurate though, most of the people in my class got low predictor scores and failed nclex as well.

I am trying to find a RN predictor test on the internet. I took the ATI predictor test last May- with a 95% chance of passing (without studying). Now I would like to see where I stand before taking it next week. Does anyone know of any credible sites with the RN predictor/ that compares to the ATI predictor test?

I got a 99% chance of passing on the ATI, passed NCLEX with 75. my school actually requires you to get a 97% pass rate on the ATI in order for them to endorse you to take the NCLEX

I took the ATI and i got 96% chance of passing the NCLEX exam. Our school requires you to get atleast a 95% until they let you graduate. I passed the NCLEX on the first try at 85 questions.

Right-My school is the same thing. I was aware of the upcoming exam and purposely did not study for the ATI as I wanted to see where I stood (without studying) So I faired well.... and did pass the NCLEX after waiting almost half a year to take it. Which I do not recommend- ugh! It is better to get it over with. Why I waited..who knows- just busy working and enjoying the summer. Thank God I passed!!

Anyone know what the passing percentage is for the NCLEX?
