I had a pt today with a trach and had a t piece at 28%. What is a t piece? I know it's delivering oxygen but is that the only purpose for it or it can be used for another reason?
  2. I found out Thursday and I did PASS!!!!!
  3. and had 81 questions. I did the PVT and got "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam". Thats a good sign Right? Just making sure I did it correctly.
  4. well i thought the test was horrible. but two of my classmates said they was dancing in the parking lot because they thought it was so easy. i think i kept getting my answers right thats why it was so hard. i had about 10 drug questions all of them where check all that apply, i had 5 kg calculations, about 5 regulary calculations, and i had a wholeeeee bunch of diseases i never heard of:uhoh3:. but im just a lpn. thanks everyone!
  5. I took the ATI and i got 96% chance of passing the NCLEX exam. Our school requires you to get atleast a 95% until they let you graduate. I passed the NCLEX on the first try at 85 questions.

Can yall please help me with this question. In a neck examination, what does the 45 degrees have to do with the JVD?

  10. I was told Jacho is not at everybody hospital right now so some might use o.d. you just have to check what the hospitals policies are.
  11. And if your not sure if it was a typo ALWAYS ASK. Its better to ask someone then make a mistake
  12. od means left eye at my school but it wouldnt make since cause po means by mouth
  13. I was wondering if someone can tell me a better explanation of the nursing process. I get that the process has 5 steps and they are Assement, Nursing Diagnosis, Planning, Implentation, and Evaluation. But i need to know how to use them in critical thinking. And I am really lost in the nursing diagnosis. I cant tell the difference between nursing diagnosis and medical diagnosis. Any ideas for me to get this
  14. Thanks, does anybody know anymore sites?
  15. Im a beginning nursing student and i am having difficult wit my classes. I study so much from day to night then wake up 2 hours early in the morning to study but when i get to the test the questions are difficult. I know the chapters very well when i get done studying but the questions dont really apply to the book. I took my first fundamentals test on thursday and got an 65% and took my first nutritional test today and got a 54% . On my prerequites classes i got all a's and b's. Do anybody know where i can get help for these classes? Maybe like practice questions or more resources. If so that will be very helpful.:wink2:
