the socail security number is a very easy thing to obtain. they will take care of it for you............or they should.

when do you think that you will be making the trip over the ocean?

they already informed me that the first thing i need to accomplish is my ssn.

my trip?... it will be on sept.4, sunday. and i'm excited!

btw, i'm reading now a book by judy priven "hello! usa" (everyday living for international residents and visitors) 2nd edition. and it's very interesting, practical and helpful too!:wink2:

it is easy to get a SSN, they have form which you sign. better, download a form from their website try searching social security administration. instructions for filling up and needed documents are also available in that site. prepare your form before going to their office. you will be asked to present 2 valid proof of identification like passport, birth certificate (NSO), etc. It is also necessary to bring proof that you are elligible to work in the US. (mine was EAD). goodluck and congrats again.
