Applying for Gordon Nursing Program Spring 2010

Hello All,

I am applying for Spring 2010 admission at Gordon. When is the application deadline? I do not need to take any classes at Gordon so I applied for Spring 2010 admission. I have not received an acceptance letter and that has been two months ago. When I check the website, it says that all of my information has been received, but my transcripts have not been evaluated or at least no grades have been posted for me as of yet. I need to apply to the program and take the TEAS, but I know that time is running out. I am beginning to get very frustrated! Can anyone help me or give me a name of someone that can help speed this process along? Thanks so much!:wink2:

I know what you mean. No one wants to see a little thin envelope! I am praying that we all get fat envelopes! :specs:

HEY!!! Just to let you guys know...the acceptance letter is NOT in a "fat" letter lol. Its just basic info. The "fat" letter comes a lil later on that has the orientation and all that good stuff in it....so open it!!!!!!!!!! lol

Thanks for the heads up phrozenone! We might have been throwing away our acceptances!

No problem at all. Funny story, when I received my acceptance letter, I was thinking the SAME EXACT thing as you all LOL. I looked at the envelope and was like.... oh well...on to plan B! Oh yeah, we start clinicals THIS WEEK UGH!!! Im so nervous *sigh* I was assigned to Grady...kinda iffy bout that because allllll my instructors keep telling me that "You're going to learn so much at Grady!" I dont know how to take that!! LOL

Oh my!! Thanks phrozenone..lol

Lol! I know that at Grady you will get a lot of great experience. Will you be able to do all of your clinical rotations there or do they make you go to different hospitals? I am so excited! Good luck phrozenone and please continue to keep us posted. You have been such a huge help!

Cool...no prob at all, I'm just glad I could help...even if its a little bit. As far as clinical sites, you get assigned a different one every semester. So chances are, I will probably be further away from home next semester *sigh* lol

Does anyone know of a good website dedicated to scholarships/grants for nursing students? Or would anyone like to share how they managed through nursing school? This would be so helpful, especially to second degree students like myself, who do not qualify for much aid. Thanks any advice is appreciated.

Congrats!!

Are congratulations in order already?! Did I miss the memo? Is it time to start celebrating?

No, not yet GaMommy. I think I confused Mom2_3boys by asking about scholarships/grants. I just want to be proactive by looking into the different resources that are out there for nursing students.

That is very smart. Are they still saying letters will go out after the 20th? I don't know how much more of this I can take!
