Applying for Gordon Nursing Program Spring 2010

Hello All,

I am applying for Spring 2010 admission at Gordon. When is the application deadline? I do not need to take any classes at Gordon so I applied for Spring 2010 admission. I have not received an acceptance letter and that has been two months ago. When I check the website, it says that all of my information has been received, but my transcripts have not been evaluated or at least no grades have been posted for me as of yet. I need to apply to the program and take the TEAS, but I know that time is running out. I am beginning to get very frustrated! Can anyone help me or give me a name of someone that can help speed this process along? Thanks so much!:wink2:

That is good news for Gordon students but bad news for not so good for Gordon students. I just hope that everyone gets a fair chance.

Well guys, They have started to mail out letters to those who applied to the LPN-RN program, my friend got hers today. I hear that the generic student are next, so things are definitely progressing. Good Luck to US!!!

Yes good luck to us all and congratulations to your friend!

I talked with my advisor and she said that it is a rumor regarding midterm grades. Midterm grades have nothing to do with getting into the program. She said she hears all kinds of stuff regarding admission time.

Just thought I would clarify in case some people are worried about getting in due to midterm grades. No worries.

There seems to be a lot of rumors swirling around about admission at Gordon. I will be happy when this whole thing is over and done with. Does anyone know when they will be finished with the generic applications?

Any news about what's going on with the admissions decisions? I can't help but be anxious!

Yeah I have not heard anything. I want to go to the nursing dept. and ask them when they are sending the notifications out but I don't want to be one of those people who drive them crazy with questions.

And I have heard two different stories about application decisions from students in the program now. I have heard some people say "Yeah, I got mine a month earlier than the deadline". But then I have also heard people say that the nursing dept drug thier feet on their decision.

I guess we will know by the end of the month. I will pray for us!

Has anyone heard any updated information about when acceptance letters will be going out?

I went by yesterday, they said after the 20th letters will be mailed.

That is comforting. At least we will know one way or the other soon. I am getting antsy!

I am so nervous. I will be so scared to open my letter. If my envelope is thin I will already know I didn't make and just throw it away.
