Anyone registered for Fall 2012 classes yet?

  • Experts

Anyone registered for Fall 2012 classes yet? We had registration on Tuesday, so I'm all signed up. I'm taking 6 classes this fall and then I'll be DONE with my pre-reqs...yay!!!!

I'm taking:

Physiology

Microbiology

Microbiology Lab (they consider this a separate class)

Pharmacology

Human Growth & Development

Phlebotomy Externship (half-semester course)

Looking forward to my Phlebotomy Externship because it's at the hospital I want to work in. I'm hoping to end up getting a job in the lab so I can work as a Phlebotomist/Lab Technician while I'm waiting to start nursing school. I'll be able to apply for nursing school in January. If I'm accepted, I'll start either Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 (depending on which cohort I'm assigned to). I'd love to get my foot in the door at the hospital as a Phlebotomist so I can transfer to a nursing position, rather than try to get hired as an outside employee. Fingers crossed!!!

Time to get back to studying.....

Congrats!!

I am so excited to start! Good luck with your class load and getting in to nursing school:)

Robyn_a & Lovedijah, good luck with Nursing school!!! I hope to be doing the same thing next fall :D

I am registered to start my A&P sequence - our cc only start it in fall so I had to wait :-)

I need to get my transcript evaluation done to see if the nursing school I am applying to will accept the statistics class I have from previously, if not then I will be taking that as well.

I'm registered for pre-reqs too! I have:

College Algebra

College Comp II

Intro to Psychology

Anatomy & Physiology I

I can't wait for A&P to start!

AP2

Ethics

And that is the last of my pre-reqs.

(I registered for Fall classes back in April)

We haven't started registration for fall yet, but I just have a couple prerequisite's before I can apply. I know I'll be taking A&P 1 this semester and then A&P 2 in the spring. That and 1 more psych class is all I need. That's when I'll be applying for nursing school and HOPEFULLY starting in fall 2013! =)

I have mine!

Pathology

Statistics

Nursing as a Discipline and Lab

Nurse Health Assessment

Foundations of Religion and Faith

I can't wait to get started either :)

All registered up! I'm taking Microbiology & Lab, and Human Growth & Development. After that, I'll still have to take my humanities course in the Spring, but I'll be all ready to submit my application in January for the Fall 2013 program.

Is that a teeny tiny light that's starting to show itself waaaaaaaaay down at the end of the tunnel?

Microbiology lecture and lab

Intro to Patient Skills

Bioethics

Social Issues

A communication class is done with in the first half of the semester.

Two one credit classes (and Intro to Patient Skills is a 1 credit as well). One of the one credits classes is only 10 weeks.

I'm registered for pre-reqs too! I have:

College Algebra

College Comp II

Intro to Psychology

Anatomy & Physiology I

I can't wait for A&P to start!

You must be brave to take it with math. I am taking A&P1 and 2 alone over this summer. So far I aced A&P1.

I'm registered for Pathophysiology and Therapeutic communication. All of the other classes required for my first semester of nursing school are ones that I've already taken like Nutrition, Psychology, and Sociology. Good luck OP with the phlebotomy! I work as an ER Tech and plan to keep doing so all the way through school so I get hired on right after graduating.
