Aug 12, 2012 Honestly, after working for over a year at the first facility, when I arrived from Europe, I finally found the break-room, and the only person in there was housekeeping talking on the phone, and eating some of the food a pt. had brought in for us nurses.
jgr1001nurse 15 Posts Aug 13, 2012 I've been where I'm at for 6 months. I just found out within the past week that we even HAVE a break room. I honestly didn't know. I looked in it once but I've never actually been in there. I wouldn't know what to do in there anyway.

However, we had a few team members (one specific charge RN and some of the assistants) that you could reliably find in the break room...

Aug 23, 2012 Taking this further, another time I went into the break room was during my first week in the unit, and I was looking for the blanket warmer and happened to open the door and there was 2 medical reps. and they handed me a couple of pens and a pad ....
