I am actually re-starting. I have an exam on the 16th that I need to get an 86 on to retain my place, so I am rereading everything I can get my hands on, watching the recommended videos, answering all the questions pertaining to the subject I can, and of course reading all the test taking strategies I can! I will keep everyone posted as to whether or not I will be rejoining you, although i am sure I will.

Start NCC (Norwalk) in Aug. Orientation in Aug also. Just got email w/list of supplies!! SO excited! I just can't wait to begin. My stomach does sommersalts every five seconds, just thinking about it!!! THIS IS IT GUYS!! THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!

oh im jealous of all of you. I got accepted into my program but other than the acceptance email, i havent gotten anything! she said she would notify me when the infomation packets were completed but i couldnt wait any longer! I finally (much to my boyfriends dismay ) emailed the girl and asked her when i was going to get this dang packet. she told me that she should be done with the packet in 3 days and shed email me the days and times i can pick it up. WHAT!? there are certain times i have to pick it up!? but once i get that packet, i can finally stop pacing around scrub shops, making the owners nervous that im going to steal something and actually purpose stuff!

Add me to the list!! Friday I have my first day of orientation. I will be getting my info. packet, blood work done, ordering uniforms and getting CPR certified. After that, I will be having a few other orientations days in the middle of Aug. and then starting class at the end of Aug.

Yes I'm also at PSC. :) We'll have to keep in touch. I'm Lucinda. (I have red hair...hard to miss me. ) Do we have to have a certain number of posts to be able to send PM's? I have a few friends who started last Spring... they have been a wealth of information.

Today we attempted to registar for Fall classes, recieve and tried to attempt to compare answers(they will not go over it until Thursday) and began to look at dosage calculations. We were given a booklet so we could brush up on math, health forms, and so formulas, abbreviations, and conversions we need to know. Until tomorrow....

Today we had a short library orientation and I completed my research assignments for tomorrow and Monday. Still excited and ready to begin getting some stuff like books and uniforms (not ready for the $$$ it will cost!) All in all I know that this is a great opportunity and I cherish each day. Wow they are really getting all of you started. You are already doing research assignments. Well at least you are working ahead and getting them done. I look forward to hearing about what else you are doing, can't wait for your next post :)

You know you really made my day :). I thought I was rambling on for my own benefit. Any way, I made a mistake in class today. I misunderstood a question and I told the teacher that I didn't do the assignment (when I actually did). I think I was because I was hungry and thinking about the lunch I could have had. Anyway now everyone in the class probably think I am a slacker but my grades say other wise. Close friends and teachers know about me. But I am not stressing myself about that because it was funny. The teacher and I got a good laugh out of it.

Today we had a long 3 hour "presentation" from an English professor about grammar, researching, writing, and plagiarism. When that was over we went over our Math quiz from Monday, she gave us some conversion factors we will need to know and hinted that we will be having a dosage calculations quiz on Monday. I will be proof-reading my research paper, learning conversion factors, brushing up on basic math, beginning dosage calculations, getting my physical exam (to get it out of the way) the rest of the week. Until Monday...
