acceptance letter

Hello everyone!

I finally got my acceptance letter. I can't believe that I will be starting Nursing school in Jan. 08. I am so :balloons: excited! I am just worried about the calculation exams. Someone told me that you only have one or two chances to pass them. Hopefully, I will do well in nursing school.

what you can do is start practice math problems as of now, just get yourself a book math for nurses and work on on one section every day,I think it should help you with breaking down simple math and medication dosage, just start review now. Good luck.

CONGRATULATIONS:balloons:Im starting Aug 20th! They advised us to get a math calculations book called Dosage Calculation by Gloria Pickar and practice before school starts. It also reviews some of the basic math that I havent done in a while so its been pretty helpful!

Good Luck!!!

Don't worry about the calculations, it's basic algebra. And you'll learn something called Dimensional Analysis which will teach you to set-up the calculation the same way each time. Once the set-up is done, the calculation is practically foolproof.

You'll do fine. Congrats on getting in:)
