I will be 22 with my BSN-RN!!!! I am going to be so proud of myself when that day comes!!! every single one of us should be!!!! so excited!!! I will graduate in 2010~~ good luck to everyone !!!

I just wanted to say that I did get accepted to MDC spring of 08 .. so therefore they do take average GPAs so dont sweat it!! I got my acceptance letter last week. But, I turned them down because there NCLEX rate for this year was like in the high 70s while the school I am already enrolled in to start next fall 08 is in the high 90's like 96 percent!!!!! so Barry here I come!!

Yeah well that is exactly why I did not apply for the ABSN program...I just applied to the basic and at barry they give you alot of chances to get scholarships, I get 11,400 a semester.

I dont know if you have ever heard of Barry University in miami Fl? But, I have a 3.3 and I got accepted there on my first try! They look at your science grades more than anything! Hello!! Well I was supposed to be going to SJRCC nursing program but I got a offer here in Miami at barry university so i moved here to get my BSN. But from what I have heard ppl with 3.0 have been getting in , all of my friends got in! You will be fine I promise you!! If you have any questions about St.Augustine or SJRCC just let me know I lived there my whole life and went to school there for 2 years!! Good luck! -Amanda

yea I am definetly going to go to barry there program is too good to put down and I will have my bachelors degree if i go there. I know they are expensive but I am getting so many scholarships I think I have 20 k in scholarships . They try to help you out finacially as much as they can. good luck to you and everyone!!!!

I Also applied for miami dade college nursing generic option and My guidance counsler said the same to me. I have a 3.2 and she said it was not bad but they usually take people with really high GPAs so I was like ok i will apply to other places too. so, I applied to barry university and got accepted in a month, they mainly look at your science grades and if you have good grades and really good science grades you have a good chance. but I dont start until next fall but I will be getting my BSN instead of ASN. You should look into their program it is supposed to be one of the best around, except they are a bit pricy! good luck with everything.

I know this postings are a little older but I just found out that I will be starting next august 2008 at Barry university in miami shores florida. It is a really hard program and is hard to get in to so that is why i applies so early, but now I have to wait! AGH!! Oh well at least im in right! well I just wanted to say good luck to everyone and good luck to the class of 2010~~!! I just applied to Nova and I have a 3.2. I was just wondering when you put your application in when do you find out if you got in or not? what term did you apply for? What were your science grades? I am just wondering all of this if you dont mind me asking because I have a really high GPA when it comes to science It is a 3.7 so i do not see how they can turn down a nursing student who pretty much has all A's in anatomy 1 and 2 and microbiology and chemistry? I just applied to Nova Southeastern University BSN-entry level nursing program. I was just wondering If anyone knew what the average GPA to get in to that program is? I have a 3.2. Is there anyone out there that has applied also? I applied in january and need some input. thank you!

I just applied to Nova as well, I am just wondering how hard is it to get in to the BSN entry program if any one has been accepted? I have a 3.25 I dunno if that is good enough but we will see! Nursing programs are way to hard to get into anymore. All they care about is your GPA which is dumb because half the people i have met that get in are all stuck up and mean and the ones who have the lower GPAs are the ones that would make a better nurse. But that is just the people I have met throughout the years. I think that nuring programs should focus on the sciences GPA because in that department i have a 3.7.

hello, I actually just put in an application for the spring JAN for BSN. Was it hard to get it? If you dont mind me asking, what was your GPA when you got accepted? My GPA is a 3.2
