Do you have some examples we should see? I didn't take it literally. But as I'm sure you're aware the idea that he has dementia isn't new. https://mindsitenews.org/2024/11/04/mental-health-experts-continue-their-duty-to-warn-about-trumps-mental-unfitness-up-to-11th-hour/

When he and the left media criticized Trump during their previous fear mongering propaganda. Which Trump didn't do.... https://www.foxnews.com/media/flashback-media-attacked-trump-floating-preemptive-pardons-2020-before-biden-did-so-four-years-later You quoted me but this post has nothing to do with what I said unless you're just trying to deflect to something or made a mistake quoting me. Yes, Biden did things he said he wouldn't do and which people might have criticized Trump for. As I said, Biden was all out of f's to give about that kind of stuff.

So, I wonder why all these folks would need to be pardoned? I almost said that about the innocent again in this case. It does make it look like they have something to hide. Then again, it just gets all that trash taken out. Trump and congress have better things to do.
Jan 22, 20251 yr Crusades said: He did mass pardon? I don't think so. He said there were several he was going to investigate. I could be wrong. In another post I stated that what he says and what he does are often not the same. Case in point.

(chef's kiss) I think that while it's safe to assume that the venue was changed for some selfish reason, we can't be certain which selfish reason for the change of venue was mostly responsible.

And one of those being his. It's amusing that some are so giddy about this "news" that he likely doesn't even know about.

Like I said buckle up. They're is going to be daily "news". Given his emphasis on such things is why it's worthy of comment. I would venture a guess he knows. But yeah, going back only two other inaugurationsis lame. I do know there was social media talk to try to keep the ratings low. Also people I don't think historically people watch these things. I never have. People around here were also distracted by our MLK parade. I'm waiting for inflation to stop and overtime not to be taxed.

Quote "The so-called Bishop who spoke at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a Radical Left hard line Trump hater. She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way. She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart,” he said. "She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our Country and killed people. Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions,” the president added. "It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA. Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one.” https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5099730-donald-trump-criticizes-bishop-transgender-migrants/

The prosecutions did have a political element, but many absolutely were deserving of being held responsible. I would have like the pardons to be considered on a case by case basis. For one, that would have been more appropriate. And for two, the public at large would be able to better see how some of these prosecutions were politically motivated. I don't like the narrative that they are political prisoners and that it was a "beautiful day". I will forever be talking about Trump and his great lie and his followers not believing in a democratic election and how (some not all) broke into the Capitol and sincerely wanted to stop the certification of Biden. Trump deflected to Biden in his response. At the end of the of the day though I'm glad this trash was taken out and we can move forward. There's other things to worry about and this is low on my list as I too am not surprised. I also don't see how him individually pardoning and talking about them being politically motivated would have made a difference to people like myself because he's Trump. Quote "Joe Biden gave a pardon yesterday to a lot of criminals. These are criminals that he gave a pardon to, and you should be asking that question," Trump said. https://www.npr.org/2025/01/21/nx-s1-5270027/trump-defends-his-decision-to-pardon-January-6-rioters
