So I'm having to purchase all white scrubs for clinicals, for my Cna class and I have no idea where to go. There's this place in the local mall that sells but I don't want to try there if it's too expensive. I don't want to go the online route. So, where's a cheap place to get scrubs for cheap? I am on the petite side. Also, when you did clinicals did you have to wear all white? Which brand of shoes did you purchase with good support?

Believe it or not, I've even seen reasonably priced scrubs in Staples (at least where I am located). Not sure about the quality though.

Walmart sells pretty cheap scrubs and if you have a Fleet Farm (or Farm and Fleet) in your area, they sell some cheap-ish scrubs too (no kidding). I wear bright pink Asics that I got on mega sale (they're around $100-120 online, I got mine for $39 at...Shopko? I think?), but I also liked Dr. Scholls shoes. I think both brands come in white. Scholls for sure, but I'm not sure about the Asics (online they have a white pair, but I don't know if those are available in stores; I have the bright pink because it's all Shopko had at the time, plus I can't argue with the price too much). They're really comfortable, but I wouldn't really pay full price. If you see some on sale, though...highly recommended, very comfy.

I honestly think the thrift store is your best bet. I brought an entire scrub set for $6 at Goodwill. Walmart is too expensive here in cobb county, GA. I brought the shoes for $10 at payless on sale. There should still be end of summer sales going on.

I got my scrubs at walmart because of the price, I knew after clinicals I was never going to wear white on white so I didn't want to spend a ton and I got my shoes on sale at payless! Best of luck! :)

I know what you mean about finding the cheap ones that you will never wearing again. When I took my CNA class I took it with my Home Care agency, and we did not wear scrubs to clinicals instead we had a black shirt with my agency's name on it, and kaki paints, and for my job we can wear scrubs but the agency's dress code for work is plan shirts with no writing or crazy designs on them, and we wear black or kaki paints.

So when it was time for me to take my states test one of the things they wanted is for us to be in scrubs, and I did not own a single pair. I went to a local store and got the cheapiest scrubs I could find, and I would never wear them again after that one night. The were so stiff and scratchy I could not imagine people wanting to wear these!! But they served their purpose and now hanging in our basement closet never to be worn again. If there ever is a time I get a job where I need to wear scrubs I'm going to try to find more comfortable ones for sure

I know I cringed as well when seeing ALL white. The only good thing about it is you can bleach the crap out of them to kill everything on them, and hope they stay white

Well it's only all white for clinicals, good thing it's not that way for a job. But I bought some Cherokee pants at goodwill for three dollars, then my top from Walmart. But then I found some all white Avis shoes at Walmart on sale.

I personally wouldn't spend much money on scrubs for your clinicals. I would seriously buy one set...maybe 2 at the MOST and just keep washing them for your CNA training.

The facility where you will eventually find work may have their own set of required colors or they may even provide you with scrubs.
