15 Years after H.S. Graduation

I'm posting this on its own thread because I really want everyone keep your hope and dreams alive! I really hope that none of you give up. Even if you get denied several times or have to wait several years, keep trying and your time will come.

(As most of you know, I was denied for Spring '06, but retook my Algebra class and reapplied.)

[bANANA]

The letters came today!!!!!!

Come June 1st, it will have been fifteen years since I graduated from high school. I went straight into college in pursuit of my nursing degree, but never got to the point of applying.

15 years after I graduated from high school, I finally have an acceptance letter into the nursing program!

I will start at North Lake College in the Fall '06 program! :balloons: :balloons:

Please, no one give up!!!!!!

Thanks to all of you for your support!!!!!!!!![/bANANA]

Good luck, NurseMatt. It is an awesome feeling...a feeling I have longed to feel for years. That 'something missing' feeling will soon be filled! :balloons:

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Fun2Care,

By me reading what you said brought tears to my eyes to see God work because you were faithful. I experience the somewhat the same experience last year this sametime when I was placed on waitlist and never was called so this is my second go round as well. I am waiting for my responses. This is definately for those that are waiting and want to become a nurse that God's work is done in his timing!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! :bowingpur :w00t: :yelclap:

Congratulations! I know you've been waiting for a while and it's great to see you finally get accepted. You are an inspiration to those of us still waiting!

Thank you, Blessone & NoelChristine.

I wish that no one had to get denied, but I believe there is a reason for each of us to get in when we do.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Good for you! Just goes to show what hard work and a little faith can do. I hope nursing is everything you could wish for.
