White Pants

Published

Hi, I am starting nursing school in a few weeks and I was wondering if someone could tell me the best pants to buy. We have to wear white ones and it seems that they are all made too thin and see through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I tried every brand of white pants I could get my hands on and they were all see-through. I ended up getting a longer uniform top that covers almost all of my underwear. A few people recommended these "can't see through" pants: http://www.jascouniform.com/ecom/showdetl.cfm?&Product_ID=9103&CATID=34

Try osem cherokee workwear pants. Also if you wear buff colored undies instead of white it looks better because you cant see you underwear.

I wear dickie's pants in white for work. They are not too thin, so you don't see through them too much. I wear the kind with 3 cargo pockets and tie tops. Also, as nursejennie said, wear tan undies and bras... you can't see them through white!

Thank you all very much. You would think after all this time they would change the requirement of white pants to something else. Thanks again!!

How about white jeans?

Do we males have to wear tan bras? :rotfl:

I found the greatest white pants on line. I think I found them at allheart.com. The brand name is "can't see through these" -no kidding. And you can't! I hope they still carry them so you can purchase some.

Yeah, I'd suggest those little training bras!

Chef's pants and any kind of workwear have nurses uniform pants beat all to heck. Jeans are sometimes allowed and sometimes not. At any rate get something made of duck or lightweight canvas like material.

I got some at a uniform shop by Nu Dimensions. It's the stretch fabric. Love them! Can't see through them. Plus very comfy, especially the ones with the knit elastic waist band

There is a very long and funny thread about this very issue from recent times. Still have no idea how to link to it though.

I wear white jeans. You can see underwear, no matter what color, through other white pants.
