Living in Florida, kids grown, single, just got LPN license and waiting to start RN program. Want to return to Alberta after I get a few years nursing experience and Alberta decides to start hiring RNs.

Hi everyone, PixieAnne here. 25 years old girl from Montreal, Quebec.

I'm new to allnurses.com. In March, I'll be starting my nursing program (to the Frenchies here, it's "Santé, assistance et soins infirmiers") aka studying to become a Practical Registered Nurse (infirmière auxiliaire). I am very thrilled about all of this and cannot wait to start!

Born in Belleville, ON. Lived in Maritimes (Annapolis Valley, NS & Moncton, NB) and Kitchener-Waterloo, ON growing up. Received my BN from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1986. Worked for a year at Camp Hill in Psychiatry, then moved to Ottawa. Been here for > 22 years. I have always worked in Psych-Mental Health - inpts, outpts and now work in Professional Development & Inservice Education. :)

I am from Kamloops and will be graduating with my BScN after 20 more shifts in labour and delivery!!!! Attended Thompson Rivers University. Glad to be so close to finished.
