Where are you from?

Just want to get an idea of where everyone is located,

and where they went for their nursing education!

I'll start:

1. Vancouver, BC

2. BCIT (starting soon ... jan06)

Hello. It's been awhile since I was on this site, so I will reintroduce myself to all. I am an R.N. from Caledon East, Ontario. I am also a holistic health practitioner, which means I did a one year study at Centennial college in complementary care.

I'm in Toronto, Ontario.

Starting the 2-year Practical Nursing program at George Brown College in Sept 2010! :yeah:I'll be bridging into a B.Sc.N when I'm done PN :) Any other Nursing students form toronto here?:)

I'm from Toronto, Ontario =)

I guess I am a pre-nursing student. Will be attending nursing school (Ryerson-Centennial) come september 2010.

I am from Huntsville, ON. Did my BScN at Trent University in Peterborough ON. Nice to meet you all!

Nursing school at Algonquin College in Ottawa, moved to Kenora, Ontario for 3 years and now in Saskatoon for 9 years. Hoping to move to Houston, Texas in the summer!

I'm originally from Ottawa, but moved to Montreal in December 2008, applied to Dawson College for fall 2009, got declined, tried again this year and got in :) I start in August :yeah:

Originally from Barrie, Ontario. Completed the 4 year BScN bridge from Georgian College and York University in 2004. Moved to North Carolina about 6 months later and have been here ever since. What a culture shock it was when I got to the states (believe it or not)! I have always traveled through the US when I was a child, and have many friends from my childhood in the states. Never thought it would be completely different living here in comparison to Canada. I miss the 4 seasons for sure. But I do not miss the fact that I have obtained the greatest nursing experinces here in the past 5 years..something I don't think I could have accomplished in Canada. Up next...to the west coast (well almost...) in Reno, Nevada, then CRNA school in Panama City, FL. If the timing is right, I may think about returning to Canada. Who knows? I have another 40 years of nursing ahead of me!!

I'm a B.C. girl, soon to graduate high school and hoping to be placed on the wait-list for Langara's RN Program. I will be attending VCC for some extra programs to pad my resume in the meantime, and might attend BCIT after to specialize :)

My original plan was to go to UBC, but they made some changes to their nursing program that is too accelerated for my liking.

Hoping to spend my career in Vancouver ^_^

I was born in England, lived in France from ages 4 to 15 years. Then moved to Kelowna, BC. lived there for about 6 years before moving to Vancouver, to work at BCCH for a year. I'll be returning to Kelowna in August, just before Baby is born :)
