What does this mean??

i need some feedback. i took the nclex exam for the second time on july 15th. i tried the pearsonvue trick to see if i would get the famous pop-up everyone talks about. i did, however, my pop-up is worded differently than everyone else's. it says, "the candidate currently has test results on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time." i never did get to a screen where i had to actually put in my cc information. well, i went out of town for a small pleasure trip, i wasn't able to get the "quick results" at the 48 hour mark, but had someone else to look at it for me around the 52 hour mark. the website said, exam are not available at this time. by this time, i was unable to contact pearsonvue to see what was up, because it had lapsed past 7pm. on friday night. now its sunday night, it still says the same thing. what have i done wrong? is it because i am a second time test taker? pearsonvue claims to have results posted in 24-72 hours, but i'm working on 100 hours.:nono: any comments???

it means that your test results have not been delivered to pearson.

in order for the pearson vue trick to work...your results have to be in delivered status.

I had this happen to me as well. I had taken the NCLEX July 2nd with some girlfriends...Well come JUly4th they both got their results and I got the "On hold" result. All weekend, I could do nothing. Monday morning I had to call my BON, Pearsonvue, and finally the NCSBN...they told me that my results were on hold because I had taken the exam too quickly and they needed to review it. Later that afternoon they released my results and I had passed.

Good luck to you, Iknow how horrible this feeling is!:heartbeat

why would they say u took it too quickly when the computer already know how u did on the exam?

im having that problem now... kinda anxious cos i start a new job in a couple of weeks and would like to inform them if i passed or failed.

Good luck chrisie.

My results are also on "hold" and I am going crazy! A whole bunch of people who took the test the same day I did had their licenses posted on the BoN website at 9 am this morning. I can't decide if I want to :barf02: or :bluecry1:

I gt the good pop up but I feel I wud sleep better after my 12 hr nite shift if it was on the Bon for my state

Update: I went to BoN website, still no license for me. Then I went to Pearsonvue and it FINALLY said my results were available and...I PASSED! Whew! I don't have an explanation as to why my results were delayed but I did have two "incidents" during testing. The first was during the practice questions at the beginning...I tried to use the calculator and my computer froze up and the proctor had to come re-start the test for me. Then, as I was leaving, my palm vein scan failed twice. Either one of those could have caused a red flag to prevent my test from being released until it could be reviewed. That's what I am thinking anyways....But at least the wait is over! Good luck to the rest of you!

I took the test today at 8:30 and was done at 12pm. My results are on hold but I went to 100 and nothing out of the ordinary happened with me or the computer. Unless it is because I was supposed to register at 8 but didnt register til 8:30.

The message has changed to candidate has previously passsed this exam.
