What classes should I take for the first session of the summer 2008?

I haven't started taking pre-requisites yet, and now I found out that if I start taking my next classes for summer then I can start from the first session or the second. I m planning to start from the first session. But the classes should be very small in length. I really have no idea about which classes r small that can help me for nursing.

Has anyone taken any of them? If so please inform me which classes should I take?

no one knows what you are talking about.

you need to state what program, what school to give you some pointers.

And what type of sessions? What are the sessions, semesters?

Oh I m sorry, I didn't mention that...

Ok, I m in community college right now...am prenursing student but haven't started taking my pre-reqs yet. So, now I m going to register for summer classes and found out that I have choices. I can either start from the first session or the second. I don't wanna wait until second session, but If I start from first session then the length is just a month. so I have to pick classes which are very small and which can be helpful to me when I start my nursing program. So, I m sure i wont be able to take A&P or any math class...

I was just wondering which classes r small in length?

I thought to take Psychology and others which I havent found out yet. But could u tell me is it possible to finish psychology in a month?

Or which other classes do u recommend that r small and useful to me for nursing?

I hope now it makes sense to ppl...thanks...

At my college, Gordon college in GA, I have options for summer semester. I can register for either first session which is very small or the second which is regular. But I want use the first session. And I have to pick up small classes which can be useful to me in nursing program...Then I will start taking pre-reqs from the second session.

And it will be my second semester now.

Ok, I'm still somewhat lost as to what your are trying to as far as the way the sessions work, but if I were you I would take psychology, english, and maybe speech, if that is what pre-reqs are required. Matter of fact, what pre-reqs are required so we can recommend which ones to take?

I think the system at my college works different than other colleges.

disregard, see below

khuship, have you tried speaking to an academic advisor about the classes you should take and in what order, etc? When I started school, I went over my 10 required classes with an advisor and we planned out my next 3 semesters that day.

I started prereqs last summer (07), second session. I took a Biology class and statistics.

Then in the Fall of 07 I took another Biology class, Anatomy, General Chemistry and Dev. Psychology.

This semester (SP 08), is my last semester with Physiology, Organic Chem, Microbiology and another Dev Psych class.

What I did was write down the classes I needed, figure out which were pre-reqs and co-reqs of each other, and from there was able to figure out which classes to take in which semesters.

I know what you shouldn't take: Chemistry! Haha. I took it over the summer... 6 week course. Class met every single day for four hours a day. I wanted to die by the time it was finally over. I have no idea how I managed to get an A in that class.
