What do you do on your break?

I will come back and post what I do during my break.

Please share what you do during yours. If you are not taking one, please explain why not.

Thanks :smokin:

Break at work? I grab a snack, some caffeine also and relax.

sit relax and eat lunch, the other 2 breaks are only ten minutes so thats just a matter of going pee and grabbing a sip of water lol

On 2nd shift, I get a drink and sit outside (when it's nice enough) with a couple of coworkers.

On 3rd shift, I go and rock and sing to one of my favorite residents when I'm not on his hall. He's 4 and was not used to human touch when we got him (because his parents are worthless), so I give him extra attention when I can.

And I don't often get my 2 15 minute breaks, but when I do, I usually just step outside for some fresh air.

I hope to get a break when I start working.

I go to the break room and eat lunch. We are not allowed to be on the floor during our breaks.

I rarely get a 15-minute break but when I do I go to the bathroom, check my cell phone, and drink a glass of water. That actually only takes about 5 minutes and then I go back to work.

I drive home to eat lunch. I'm only 4 minutes away from the hospital where I work.

Wish I could get a break. I only have time to sit and eat for 15 minutes.

IF I am fortunate enough to get a break, I eat, drink and pee whilst I can !

I don't usually take 15 minute breaks, but I drink and pee whenever I want to throughout my shift (and anyone that wants me to do otherwise can go eat pureed sausage and die). On the rare occasion I do take a 15-minute break, I sit and catch up on allnurses and email on my phone, or talk to people from other units that are also on break.

I WISH I could take the 15 mins Break or even complete time on my lunch... I do clock out for lunch, but continue working, because, since I have to get all my patients up before noon most of the times I am not done by 11:30 (my lunch time) but when ever I can I take 5 to 10mins to eat my snacks...
