Hi, everyone.
Nice to meet you all.
This is the first time I write something here.
Anyway, I applied to Temple univ. and Thomas Jefferson Univ.
Now I am a Temple student.
I got a letter today from Temple says that I need to have an interview with a faculty member soon.
I am very nurvous...:stone
I already have a BA degree so I want to get in Jeff's accelerated program so badly!!! Unfortunately I haven't taken Microbiology(taking in summer), I couldn't apply for FACT...but chose accelerated passway to MSN.
I heard Temple's last year GPA cutline was 3.40...and Jeff's even harder to get in.
It's getting competitive to be a nurse...wow..
Well..
Good luck to yall.
I am so happy to find a good website.

HI! Welcome to our happy little board!
I got called last Wednesday for an interview at Duke (also with a faculty member) for their ABSN and I"m about to DIE from the stress of it all...I've had to put band-aids on EVERY finger when I come home from class and work or else I'll pick them to death (can't have that going into a NURSING SCHOOL interview....) - when I get nervous I BITE BITE BITE....
I know what you mean; Duke is my first choice and if I get in there you will hear the scream all the way up where you are....
Good luck with Jefferson. Temple's an excellent school, too (my uncle used to work there; my dad was from Philly), though. But I know what it means to want your first choice. I've applied to UNC's 24 month program as well, and while I'll be just as happy if I get in there - or to the ADN program I'm applying to - it just won't be the same. (I have to drive through Duke's campus almost every day...it would hurt!)
Just knowing that DUKE CALLED ME, though, might hold me for a while!
Good luck and keep us posted - there are many many of us here in the same boat and we're all in application hell, regardless of what program we're applying to!

Congratulations you two on getting your interview. Good luck. :yelclap: Let us know how it went. For my ABSN program there are no interviews or tests. Strictly letters of rec, transcripts and a "yes" or "no" answer (which will hopefully come soon!!).

Glad you found us! Good luck to you!
Thanks!
THAT would drive me nuts. That's how UNC is - no call, no interview. I REALLY feel sorry for you; hang in there and keep us posted!
