It is new to me. Where did you hear this? Anyway,, what is BLS? Actually, I took a training course at RedCross,, CPR and First Aid Basic. If we have to, don't worry, your local redcross or somewhere else will have various courses... and usually it's a few hours or a day maximum. ^_^

Yes.. Thank you drizzle. I did not get my acceptance letter yet. So I called them again... and they said they will duplicate the letter and resend it today. I hope I am gonna get my letter safely and we can meet at the orientation! Yes, I am accepted to 15 months program. Anyway, I am still finishing up Microbiology in this summer! Did you guys all finish your pre-reqs? Well, Congratulations everyone!!!

Hey everyone. I called NYU and I heard "Congratulations, you're accepted!" However, I didn't get my admission package yet. I live in Philadelphia, only 2 hours from NYC. I am kind of getiting worried about the delay. Well, anyway, it's 15mons 2nd D. BSN program.. and anyone please give me some information about.. until when I should make a deposit to ensure my seat in NYU...or when is the orientation date? I'm excited about meeting you all and starting studies.. Congrats you all!

Have anyone heard from NYU yet? (Accelererated 15months) They indicated the letters will be sent out in Early April, but It seems Mid-April is already approaching.. Good luck to you all.

Yes... I really hope that this letter is just a reminder. I am worrying because this school is on rolling basis admission.. thus the possibility of getting in becomes lower if my review delays until May. Did anyone who applied to Thomas Jefferson Univ. in Phila. get this letter also? I am nervous.. although I have quite good GPA the school sent out this kind of warning letter. I would call them if I don't hear any notice about a week later. Or i'm gonna kill myself with wondering all the time. Thank you guys.. wish you are all well with yours.

Hi, everyone. I got a letter and it makes me depressed. Well, it says; The Committee on Admissions has made a preliminary review of your application for admission to XXX. As you are either currently enrolled or planning to enroll in certain prerequisite courses which are important to us in the selection process, we wish to review the results of your performance in those courses before we take further action. In order for us to proceed with your candidacy, we are requesting that you send us an official copy of your spring final grades. AFTER WE RECEIVE THIS INFORMATION, WE WILL REVIEW YOUR APPLICATION AGAIN, TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION ALL OF YOUR ADMISSION MATERIALS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU SEND US THIS INFORMATION AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE. And they gave me the list of missing prerequisites. I didn't complete 4 classes yet,, Does this mean that I will not get my decision of admission until this SPRING SEMESTER is OVER in MAY? Do you guys who are waiting for THE letters, receive this kind of letter? :(

Hi EVERYONE!!!! Finally. everything's done. They got my packet and loaded every information online. So I am DONE!! It was terrible week..but I am just happy although I am not accepted yet. USPS did good work but the Jeff officers were just lazy.. --; I am sooorry to stirring you all , also THANK YOU so much with your prays and advices!!!! From Now on.. I called them again today, but I heard from them just to call again of Friday. WhyWhyWhy friday? And also I asked why they want me to call on Friday? Are they sure that my application will be there on Fri? Don't they think I should resend my stuff? And she goes like.. "Someone(maybe supervisor?)will tell you about your application and let you know whether you have to resend your materials again." Well, I should just take a deep breath and wait 2 days more. and then take another step as asking professors LOR again. I hope USPS has successfully done their work already. Is it possible not to deliever "business reply mail"? Because I sent my things inside the business reply mail envelope which Jeff gave me to use for my application. Thank you for all your warm replies.. I will let you know on this Friday!!!

Thank you for your concern.. Well, I called them again, but they just said they don't have mine. I am very suspicious about USPS... Unfortunately, I didn't get any tracking methods right now. what I am nervous about the most is that package should have been sent as first class mail.. does it take like over a week? Jeff said me to call them again on this Friday.... I don't know what they are talking about. I am so sad... I didn't make any copies.. though I have my transcripts,,, I can make new application but the problem is recommendation letters. I am so sorry to do that again to my professors. Maybe, I have believed blindly about USPS.. please wish me luck. hope all's well with you.

I am sosososo frustrated! How come this happen to me? I called TJU which I want the most, and the lady said they do not have anything from me. I put every material in one envelop which they sent me to use!!! The envelope has their address on it and I didn't even need to put my postage at all. It was so perfect! i don't have any copies now and I cannot beg another recommendation letters to my professors! I want to cry but I can't! I am so stunned. :angryfire whose fault is this? They said that i should call them like 2-3 days after, Does this mean that they didn't process my application yet because they are lazy..? and the momnet in this morning, they are annoyed by me asking? Actually I hope so..I hope my package was already arrived safely there and they are lying to me... It's gloomy Monday. I hope all's well with me and you all through this week.. Wish me luck.

Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you all. This is the first time I write something here. Anyway, I applied to Temple univ. and Thomas Jefferson Univ. Now I am a Temple student. I got a letter today from Temple says that I need to have an interview with a faculty member soon. I am very nurvous...:stone I already have a BA degree so I want to get in Jeff's accelerated program so badly!!! Unfortunately I haven't taken Microbiology(taking in summer), I couldn't apply for FACT...but chose accelerated passway to MSN. I heard Temple's last year GPA cutline was 3.40...and Jeff's even harder to get in. It's getting competitive to be a nurse...wow.. Well.. Good luck to yall. I am so happy to find a good website.
