UVA CNL Program 2016

Hello, All!

I figured I would start a new thread for people applying to the UVA CNL Program for 2016. I have to admit I'm pretty nervous about applying, and I really hope it all works out. I'm graduating from Virginia Tech this May with a degree in Psychology. I haven't completed all of my pre-reqs yet, but my gpa is decent, and I'm a nationally certified EMT. I'm nearly done with my application, but a little nervous that my references won't submit their letters in time :/ let me know how your process is going!

    I'm going to guess they'll be out tomorrow during the day? I didn't see an update on my portal, but I could also just be over looking it.

    I figure that'll be the case. I looked at mine and I didn't notice any change either. I was hoping it would be at 12:01a like it has been in years past, but I guess it's different this year.

    I waited up too, there's nothing posted yet. The suspense is killing me! Well... off to work...

    When the decisions come out, it will be on your main dashboard (where you see "application submitted", your references listed, supporting documentation, etc.). Near the top it will say in green "Decision Finalized". Also, at the very bottom after Other Supporting Doc an additional link will appear. It will say "Decision Status" and have a blue hyperlink that will say "Your application decision is now available online." Last year we did not get an email but the decisions were posted right on time (the 20th @ 12:01). So this year... maybe they'll send an email? Or shall I see you guys at 12:01 again? :sleep:

    I waited up too! Of course today of all days I'm sitting with a patient with nothing to do but be anxious about these decisions (and wish I slept more haha). At this point I just want to know!

    @Carolid- I got this from the '' Apply now'' page of the site, we will hear from them soon. I wish you all the best

    Good luck all! Go out for drinks if you can and take a nap --- all things most of us did this day last year to help the time pass! Especially rooting for you round 2ers... I was in your boat not long ago. You got this!

    I second what hs4zu wrote. You're almost there! Keep yourself busy in between checking your status every five minutes if you can, and you'll know soon enough.
