UVA CNL Program 2016

Hello, All!

I figured I would start a new thread for people applying to the UVA CNL Program for 2016. I have to admit I'm pretty nervous about applying, and I really hope it all works out. I'm graduating from Virginia Tech this May with a degree in Psychology. I haven't completed all of my pre-reqs yet, but my gpa is decent, and I'm a nationally certified EMT. I'm nearly done with my application, but a little nervous that my references won't submit their letters in time :/ let me know how your process is going!

    Oh, and don't lose faith if you are put on the waiting list. I know of at least two people in our program who were on it before ultimately getting accepted.

    I am also a CNL hopeful. I googled the program looking for an admissions decision and nothing has been posted. Does anyone know the decision date?

    I second what she said about being wait listed. I was wait listed for the ACNP program (not surprised since I have been a nurse for 5 months, can't believe I even got an interview) and when I went to chat with an old professor she told me they do take people off wait list for the CNL program and she was pretty sure for ACNP to! So if you are wait listed, don't fret!! I bet you all got in anyways!! :)

    well the email said the decisions will be this friday 12/24...which isn't quite right! hopefully it's tomorrow night at midnight!

    Admissions just emailed (and then clarified because there was a minor typo). Decisions will be available this Thursday 12/24/15.
