UTMB Spring 2013

Last semester, those denied admission got a mailed letter but MyStar didn't change at all.

I'm new to the post, but I've been reading these forums for months & wanted to share my excitement! I accepted admission yesterday on mystar and received my letter in the mail on Wednesday! They are still reviewing files so hang in there if you haven't heard anything yet! Good luck everyone! Hope to see you at orientation!

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I Can see that some people have been accepted already.congrats.My TEAS score was very low(68%) so I am really very nervous but my GPA is 3.96.Pls for those who already got accepted what are your stats if you dont mind? thanks

I was accepted Wednesday. My TEAS was a 78% and my GPA was a 3.7 with a science GPA of a 3.3. Your GPA is extremely high. I'm sure you have a great chance of getting in. Hang in there and good luck!

Okay so now I am freaking out. I just checked and I have a TRIANGLE! Meaning my application is incomplete??? It says "Courses in Progress Transcript" on my to do list. I never received anything saying they were needing that....no email/letter/call, NOTHING! I've sent several transcripts, but apparently they wanted to know what I was taking by June 15th? I am SO confused and SCARED!!!!!! I would call tomorrow but they're probably closed for the holiday....has anyone else experienced this?

I did, with UTHSC. For me--it meant that they want a transcript showing you have finished the class/es you are currently taking. Of course these transcripts wouldn't even be available until you finished the fall semester-but it doesn't (it didn't for me) stop the application process. You know how some people get accepted even before they finish ALL of their pre-req's?..

...that's what I'm guessing happened to your app and thus changed the status; while reviewing your current transcripts -"they" saw that you are enrolled in a class which there isn't a "grade" for--yet, and that's why it is "course in progress". But it's best to call whenever they're available-tomorrow maybe?

Congrats ashlianna.thanks for the kinds words.Ur TEAS was definitely high and ur GPA great as well.I know there are people with higher TEAS scores than mine.I am just hoping that with my GPA put into consideration,that I can get accepted.**keeping faith** Congrats everyone and for those still waiting like me,let us keep the faith high:)

Im still waiting too. Tomorrow will be 5 weeks since I received that email from admissions saying we should get an answer within 6 weeks. Soooo nervous and stressed out!

I got my letter around friday, and i changed my status to a check on monday, it was a check but then it became a triangle, but thats only cause it was the courses in progress thing, other than that, pretty ecstatic and cant wait to begin a new chapter in my life!

Congratulations! Im still waiting.. Still checking my Mystar every second . Im going insane. Wish they would tell me YES or NO already so I can stop freaking out. ugh!

Mine hasn't changed yet neither I'm starting to believe I'm not going to see that green check mark!
