UTMB Spring 2010

Yeah,I'm coming from houston too,but I don't plan on commuting.I'm just going to move to Galveston if I get in.4 more weeks!?! Oh wow why am I not shocked.When I called for more information about 2 weeks ago,she told me about the same thing that we probably wouldn't be finding out anything untilt he end of september because they haven't even looked at anything yet,but now it's october.This is crazy! I wish we would know already!

OMG four more weeks! oh wow thats awhile, but I guess no more stressin over UTMB until then. So October it is... well the good thing is UTMB is quick about getting back to you after interviews are done with. In previous post people found out a week or 2 later that they were officially accepted to the school. I guess our applications have just been sittin around all this time.

Oh really?wow one to two weeks after the interview process would be great! I really hope that is the case so we can know if we are accepted or denied already! I would hate to have to wait for letters in December like some of these nursing programs.It's crazy seeing that school would start in January!

I see a lot of people not living in the area have concerns about relocation. I live in Clear lake area and I know of some cities that are not too far from Galveston. Clear Lake (southeast houston) 77062, 77058,77059, Webster 77598, Friendswood 77546, League city 77573, Kemah 77565, Dickinson 77539, Texas city, 77591, 77590, La Marque 77568.

FYI Clear lake, Friendswood, Webster, League city, and Kemah are pretty nice areas to live in IMHO. The other areas are closer but like most cities have some not soo good areas. You may be able to find some cheap rent in a rental home or apartment though.

I've been following this thread for a bit.....nice to know I'm not the only one wondering WTH is going on with the applications and interviews.....

I have a feeling something will be happenening pretty soon. I logged onto my e-connect and a lot of things were updated for me. Like my TSI doesnt say "incomplete" anymore. I dont have a slot for San Jac like I used to...its all up to date and accurate which tells me they are working on stuff. Good sign

thanks for the update!! that's awesome. maybe they'll send out interview invites sooner than they anticipated. I'm praying for all of ya'll. We deserve this :)

ok, you guys as of today I am truly bombed. I just spoke to **** and she said she spoke with the SON and they are not sending out interview letters for a few more weeks. Gosh, I mean what the hey is taking so long. It wo't be till October before they start sending interview letters.

Uggg... if they're not going to let me in, I need to know. My lease ends in December and I've got to plan!

Thats pretty annoying...I had a feeling this is how it would be though. I heard they take their sweet time over there. I wonder how soon after interviews will they be sending out acceptance letters? Did you find that out as well? Like I wonder how many weeks does their interview process take? If its 3 weeks of interviews and then they mail out acceptance letters a few weeks after that we are talking November before we know something. Will one of you email **** and find that out? I have 3 tests tomorrow so I shouldnt even be on here.
