They weren't much help :( They just told me that the pre-admissions adviser was out until the 21st and that I could email her if I had any questions. UGHHHHH!!! I emailed her a week ago and still haven't heard from her. Oh well, I guess I'll find out if I have everything set to go when they start sending out interview invites.

awwwww katielou07...thanks for trying! well at least we know nothing is going out until after the 21st! so i will change my prediction from interview letters going out on 9/10 to 10/1!

yeah. I heard that they drag their behinds over there. I assume everything is alright. I found out that coding means processing...so mine still hasnt been processed apparently. Oh well. I believe if you call the actual College of Nursing not enrollment services they can tell you.

OK I found a link with all the phone numbers . The lady from admissions said we need to contact school of nursing regarding our interview inquiries. There number is the first on the list. I will be in class al day tomorrow so maybe someone else could call and let us know what their most recent answer is?

nice emag..we need to earmark "page 30"...or cut and paste this link every now and again so we don't loose it! my plan was to call on 9/10 about the interviews , but now that i know everyone is on vacation.....i'm thinkin maybe not....

I am sure someone has an answer if we call. I can call Friday if none of you want to call tomorrow.

Also, I have a freind who is interested in UTMB in case she doesnt get in for the Spring 2010 UTHSC. I thought they had a program that started in the summer but I couldnt find it online. Have you guys heard this too? If so can you give me some details

When I went to the open house in June (I sound like a broken record..lol)...Ms. ****** said they just moved the Summer class to Spring! The 2010 Spring class was the Summer 2010 class. So there will be SPRING and FALL start dates only for now.

oh....so no more summer admissions! Yikes she will be bummed to hear that one. I also see that since we are in the Spring we go 4 semesters and admits from the Fall go 5 semesters....awesome!

It's so crazy how long its taking to get these interview letters! I don't even see what was the point of having the deadline July 31st is nothing was going to be done until october. Yeah I was thinking about dropping my pathophysiology class too this fall after UTMB said we just need another biol credit.I also took general biol my first semester too,but I just decided to stay in patho because I hear it really helps you alot when you start the program. It's ok so far.

I talked to Dorah turner today and she said interview invites will be sent out in approximately FOUR WEEKS!!! oh my gosh. that's so long to wait. but at least we have an answer now.

Thanks Katie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess there is nothing to stress over for a few more weeks. What will we do with ourselves?

I have no idea, stress over other school applications? I applied to UTHSC but I don't plan on getting in, and if i had to choose between that and UTMB, i'd choose UTMB anyways. I'm still worrying about where I'm going to live if I get in! I don't really wanna live in Galveston, but the nearest city that's nice to live in is Webster...and that's still a good 25-30 minutes away. But I guess that's right in between Galveston and Houston so it's good for clinicals. AH!! so much to stress about.
