Bacc2s will get a check during orientation I believe.

I heard clinicals are 12 hours for Bacc2s. My friend told me you would work whatever schedule the nurse you are assigned to shadow works.

I was also told yesterday by Mrs. C at Admissions that we would be responsible for paying tuition the day before classes start and that we wouldn't find out how much it is until we get to orientation.

Oh grr...I am so frustrated. My e-connect has not updated yet. I don't see any of the stuff ya'll are talking about. Have any other Bacc2 students seen the schedule yet? If so, does anyone know what it looks like?

Does anyone know if we have one or two clinicals for generic? i thought we just had one, but on the schedule she emailed to us it looks like there are two.

that schedule is crazy! i don't know how i'm going to work....still trying to figure that one out. even if i know what 'group' i'm in, i can have a better idea, but i bet they don't tell us that until orientation.

I am looking for a roommate! where exactly are you staying?

For anyone who is looking for an apartment in Houston, I used http://www.intheloopproperties.com/ to find my apartment. They actually listened to my price range and stuck to it, so I highly recommend them.

If you're not from Houston... Houston traffic sucks. I can't see getting from the island to the medical center in less than an hour. Also, parking at the medical center is wicked expensive, so don't forget about that!

sorry to hear that jazzy, but glad you called to be sure.

are they trying to give us a a heart attack? we have to pay tuition before classes? i haven't even gotten my fa award yet. well i did notice there is a place on e-connects to setup up a payment plan. i'll be using that soon.

thanks for the link wannabetxnurse.

hello sorry I didnt get back to you about the schedule but now we have it. I am going to be heading to Houston from San Antonio tomorrow to find an apartment. I want to find somewhere in between the med center and Galveston so hopefully I find something. Ive been looking on line and calling some of the places that people have posted. If anyone has any more specific apartment complex I would appreciate the input. I know this has been asked before but I need all the help I can get to find the right place. I have not received my financial aid either so still waiting on that. Has everyone already gotten the PDA software just wanted to make sure we all of them?

i was jus reading old posts and read an old post that meghanm07 made about roommates. did you already get them. i can not pm so jus let me know.

VRA21 I would check out places in Clear Lake and League City, they are in between Galveston and the Medical Center. What is your price range, there are a lot of choices around here of all prices...

Well I'm looking for something under 600. They say the drive from those cities is about 20 mins to Galveston , and about 30-40 to medical center

Does that sound about rt? The Red One u in the. Generic bsn. Program I'm just wondering since we would b going to class most of the week I keep second guessing living off the island. I'm just worried about traffic I always here crazy stories about Houston traffic
