UTMB FALL 2014

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time. So, how is everyone else doing?

I think it maybe stated you had to have an interview to get accepted in the email for the interview invite.

what? Don't understand what you're trying to say. But Christian.donatto said that she was told you need to have an interview to get accepted.

Which to me sounds like everyone that gets accepted also gets an interview invite.

Getting invited for an interview is part of the acceptance process. No interview invite means your getting declined. But just because you go for an interview doesn't guarantee acceptance but does mean you have a very good chance. I think for Spring 2014 admits 130 something were interviewed and like 120 accepted out of 500-600 for the Trad BSN Program.

Hey raidergirl95, is there a way to find out how many people applied for Fall 2014? I feel like if I could know ONE thing right now, I would love to know how many people applied. I'm just so curious!

I think the old thread where that info came from someone had called enrollment services or admission advisor and they gave them those numbers.

When I went to my interview, I was told 450. I'm not sure if that was the total number of applicants or the total number that met the requirements.

At the open house enrollment service said there's was about 800 applicants and they are picking about 120

I hope so ! That makes me feel better!:)

During my interview I asked this question. I was told a little over 400 (I'm assuming qualified applicants) applied and they would be accepting around 120.

Thank goodness! The number I was told scared me! that sounds a little better :)

That's still really competitive. ~25% acceptance rate

Has anyone heard back from an interview yet?
