UTA Spring 2015

So I decided to change my plans from ADN to BSN and I didnt realize I am almost done in my prerequisites in UTA nursing.

I have everything done this Summer except intro to nursing and technical writing which I plan to take during Fall 2014 semester.

I will go to UTA campus for the first time and see an advisor to talk about everything I needed to know and do.

Is it possible for me to get a January spot because by December I am all finished in all nursing pre requisites? My science gpa is 3.75 but I dont know my overall yet till I see and advisor. No considerations and not patnered either.

I want to apply to the campus BSN program.

I'm currently a Pharmacy Tech but I'll be looking for a PCT job once the first semester is over just so I can have more hands on experience :)

Hi! I am on the waitlist for Spring 2015 AP BSN program. Transferred in with previous degree and have only taken 12 hours of science with UTA. Congrats to the people who were accepted. The letter had asked that responses for the program be received by October 3rd. Any chance anyone knows how long after October 3rd that the school will begin calling people from the waitlist?

At the meeting, she said they were going to wait a week to get all the responses in and call those that they didn't hear from. Then they're going to start calling the following week.

@keepinggrace , dont give up. The waitlist people can still be called and accepted 3 weeks prior to the start of the spring nursing semester.Goodluck to you

The counselor called me on Friday and informed me about our AP-BSN classes. They are going to range from 5-14 weeks long over a 15 month period. I think the in class program is longer.

Hey everyone,

I was accepted into the AP BSN program, as well. Woo!! I was rejected 3 times from UTH and I'll find out in November if I am rejected or accepted into UTH for the Spring but I've already accepted UTA. Honestly, I prefer the online format wayyyy more. Don't have to worry about traffic and parking for classes ;)

Anyway, does anyone know where we buy the UTACON patches from? Also, anyone else from Houston?

Congrats to those who were accepted/waitlisted and for those who weren't, keep trying!! If it's what you really want, you'll find a way to make it happen :)

The UTA bookstore has them. You can probably order them from their website.

For those of you accepted into the AP BSN program for spring 2015. Have you gotten the email confirming that they received your signed acceptance letter? I faxed mine several days ago but haven't gotten the email confirming they received it. I know the instructions said it could take up to 5 days - just getting nervous.

I received my email stating that they got my forms that I faxed. Just keep checking it may take the system time to send it.

How long did it take for you to get the email? I was going to call today but now I am really worried because the campus is closed today - I still haven't received the email confirming that got my form. I will re-fax and at least call and leave a voicemail and just hope all is well. EEK!

I received my confirmation email that they received my response about 2 days after turning it in.
