UMB FALL 2011

I will be applying for the Fall 2011 program at UMB really really soon. I was wondering if anyone else was doing the same...? I'm really nervous about applying because Anatomy really kicked my butt last semester and I ended up getting a C (even though I ended up doing really well on my other science courses). Now, I'm losing hope. Anyone feeling the same?

and you are making it for the Shady Grove campus right? :-)

You're right. LOTS of Jenny O'Briens. Even lots of Jenny O'Briens with boys in their profile pictures. Ha.

And yes, SG :)

HMM ok Well I went to Lehigh University...anddd I am blonde, and the boy is a brunette with a UMD tee shirt on..I have a blue shirt on and we are at the beach!

I started a USG group last night. PMs to follow

Still waiting to hear back about acute care MSN...Anyone else??

Waiting on rn to bsn... Maybe they're handling traditional bsn first...and then other programs

I'm sure all the information we all had to turn in is extremely time consuming to go through...I cannot imagine

It seems like only traditional bsn people have heard back. You guys will prob hear soon. I am traditional bsn and still at committee ready, so at this point it looks like I'm waitlisted or just not in. Hoping there will be another batch of admits in the next few wks for bsn and maybe I will get good news, but who knows.

Good luck to you.

I am still at Committee Ready also :( I'm trying to stay positive but it gets harder with every passing hour...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will hear good news in the next couple of weeks!

Good luck to you too... I know when I was waiting to hear back from my nursing program it was a long stressful wait but it just gets you prepared with dealing with the stress of nursing school... I hope everything works out for you

It is not over until it is over, folks, so hang in there.

If I may, I would like to reiterate Grey Lady's point. I was wait listed last fall and I was already making alternative plans for the semester. A week before school started, I was notified that a spot had become available (I was notified on a Friday, orientation was the following Wednesday and Thursday, and classes began on Monday). I know of two other people in my cohort who were wait listed and were offered spots a week before school as well. So there is definitely still hope for those who have not heard anything yet. I know the wait can be excruciatingly nerve wracking, but try to hang in there.
