i got an e-mail yesterday afternoon as well...except mine just said "college transcripts"..so i rush ordered my transcripts since there's a holiday weekend next week. wish i'd known...

On Friday I got the email asking for 2 letters of recommendation and my transcript. I called to ask about the transcript, since trying to order transcripts Thanksgiving week can be problematic. I was told that an unofficial transcript print out would do. After all, they want it mailed all in one packet. Has anyone heard this about an unofficial transcript too? The official transcript has my birthday stamped across the top (potential for age discrimination in my case), while the online one doesn't. Sounds like a no-brainer, but it's hard to believe that this competitive program would be OK with an unofficial transcript. What do y'all think? Or I may just be a bundle of nerves over this and worry about any possible cause for rejection...

They mentioned on their email that they want an unofficial transcript, i have applied to several new grad programs before that only wanted unofficial transcripts so I would not stress over getting an official transcript. Good Luck to All!

Two friends just got their "need the transcripts" today! She called HR about the unofficial transcripts and yes, don't need official ones. But there was over 1,100 applicants for 20 openings. Tough but possible.

Just got the e-mail about moving forward to the reference stage. I went through an ABSN program, and had previous experience volunteering in an ER and a psych unit. I also had worked in a rehab center as an activities leader.

My status still says "appl".

Also, does anyone know if UC Davis' program offers work on a psych unit? Does UC Davis even have a psych unit?

To answer your question UC Davis does not have an actual inpatient Psych unit. Most Psych cases are sent to Med-Surg floors until placement can be found like across the street at the county psych facility.
