UC Davis 2012

I don't think anyone got to interview in front of the actual UD or NM yet, just that they got called to schedule themselves for an interview. Good luck everyone!!

do you know what new grad starting pay is? just curious what its like in cali...i'm from chicago

There is information regarding salary on the program's FAQ page...It says starting is $40.97 plus differentials, pretty good :)

WOW. that's $15 more than what's offered here.

I haven't heard myself for an interview and it's only from what my girlfriend has found out.

My friend thinks that the interviews are starting tomorrow and goes to next Wednesday. A possible single interview with the UD and NM and if they like you, sign on the dotted line.

UC Davis also has a very generous benefits package, great start pay scale and cost of living is very reasonable, nothing like in the Bay Area or LA, so it's a total win-win situation.

With the shift differentials, it goes up to $43-44, nice.

I just called the nursing recruitment dept to get a status update on submitted documents (mine were due 12/1). She said they are in the middle of all the paperwork and candidates should be expecting calls from now till a few more weeks.

I was starting to lose hope because so many people have already received phone calls. Hope this is some comfort to anyone equally anxious as I am about this!

I just got a call from the perinatal nurse manager and she offered me an interview for L & D! There will only be ONE interview and Interviews will be next week monday and tuesday for selected applicants and there are only 2 positions! The top two applicants will be hired sometime this month ... i believe she told me that the panel will make their decision and inform applicants the week after interviews =) Good luck to all!!!
