UBC 2021

Hiya folks!

It's a bit early, but since the application period opens in a couple of months, I thought I'd start this topic to share support/encouraging words/info/nervousness.

Is anyone else already excited for next September?

    @Gymah, here is a response to someone experiencing the same issue when the minimum posting requirement has been met:

    This sounds like it might be a browser extension/plugin is hiding elements on the page. This is usually caused by Ad Blockers or similar plugins.

    We recommend disabling your extensions and see what happens. 

    A good way to test this is to switch to a browser that doesn't have the extensionenabled. (eg. Firefox or Internet Explorer or CHROME, etc.). If you see the missing elements then it is the extension.

    Hey! Just wanted to update you since I was in the same position last year.
    We recently just got our registration time, so it looks like there may not be any seats left unless people who already accepted the offer are willing to give up their seats. ?
    (Hopefully that's not the case, but just wanted to give you a heads up!)

    And yes, any seats that do come available at this point would be from people giving up an offer that they had already accepted. I find it hard to believe people would do this, but apparently it happens. I guess that is what has historically resulted in the "3rd wave" of waitlist acceptances in July/ August.

    Is anyone who was accepted in a previous year still on this forum? When was your registration date for that year?

    Congrats to everyone who got in so far!! 

    To those still waiting by now, I'd personally say stick by your backup plans but keep hoping for the positive ? You will all get there in time.

    Was accepted in May 2019 and finished just last month! I recall getting an acceptance ~the first week of May.

    I am trying to decide between U of T and UBC, does anyone have any insight to the key differences between the two programs? What is the typical class size in UBC Nursing?
